this video is a test balloon for a quasi timelapse, block by block tutorial style. let me know what you think of it. 🎈🤔 and yes, I did just break the blocks and reverse the footage. I would say its low budget, but I dont have a budget. 😅
OMG my brain is moesh. I seriously have so much respect for this build. Not only is it out of this world but it was bloody nerve wrecking to build step by step. THANK YOU for this tutorial 😅👌🏼🙏🏼
This works pretty well, especially for a subject like this. I would slow it down just a hair more (maybe 10~15%, so this video would end up around 19 minutes) because I was getting blurry frames on pausing here and there. It would probably make it a little easier to arrow-skip and have the tail end of each section overlap with the next by a block at that slightly reduced speed too (i.e.; the last block placed at 6:07 would end up still in frame at 6:12 and that would make keeping your bearings on a radial build like this a little easier).
I had to squish the footage down to fit the audio track. its about 2x speed. you can slow the video playback down if you need to. there is no motion blur in the master copy I made of this. did you have it turned up to max high quality?
@@trydar Apparently I did not. I just rewatched the section I was getting the most blurs through when I paused and they were almost entirely gone. So I will assume it was my browser dumping me down to 720 auto. Though if it is filmed/ran at 200% speed, I'd still say 180% to 185% speed would still get a nice overlap sweet spot between zones for orientation on a round build. I can follow this with ease, it's a godsend, and I am nitpicking. Sorry. (^_^;;;)
@@darklordauron you should have an option to turn the speed down to as low as 1/4th, have you tried that also? its fine please continue, I want the nits to be picked out before I try this again. 🤔👍
@Trydar When I view it at 1/4 speed, it is only skipping forward 1 second which is new. Even as recent as a few weeks ago, it did not matter what speed I was on, it would skip 5 seconds with the arrow keys. I just tried viewing at 75%, paused, using the arrow keys to skip forward, and it got me a near perfect rotation of the camera to see the orientations of the last block in a swath.
omg i actually built this 2 weeks ago from your previous, almost impossible to follow, video! I wish i had waited but the balloon looks incredible. Thank you but i never want to see a sheep again as i completed it in survival
this build sucks it took me so long to fix the lights and it’s not very thorough. i’m close to finishing and want to make more but it’s been such a hard follow throughout.
im sorrys you had trouble, I gave you two methods for the build and provided the download, im not sure what else could be done. did you slow the video down to 1/4 speed? 🙁
@@trydar yeah i’ve used .25 speed on the entirety of it but i still can’t see how far the spacing of the lights should be, or how symmetrical it’s supposed to be. i know u can just freestyle some of the design but it’s not made very clear in a lot of areas where u just use the lever wand and place blocks out of thin air.
@@trydar i completed the build but it’s not very accurate. it’s okay though it’s a beautiful addition to the world i’m working on but next time i’ll just have to watch it super carefully
the links still work, but youtube has started displaying them as truncated, which causes them to appear broken with a simple click, but if you will right click and copy paste the whole link, it will work just fine.
