Minecraft - Wax on, Wax off 

It's really simple to find a beehive you need to plant a oak or birch sapling next to any flower and there is a 5percent chance the tree will generate with a beehive

Use the stonecutter so you don t need that much copper [and leave 4 blocks space between the blocks it will work waaaaaay faster ]

DO NOT PUT THE BLOCKS TOGETHER, LEAVE AT LEAST 4 BLOCKS OF SEPARATION IN EACH ONE, I HAD ALSO PUT THEM TOGETHER AND THEY HAD NOT EVEN HAD ONE STAGE OF OXIDATION AND WHEN I SEPARATED THEM IT DID NOT EVEN TAKE 10 MINUTES TO START OXIDIZING.

just for reference, I had to leave my PlayStation on for over 30 hours to get the copper to fully oxidise.

This has gone awfully. A creeper blew up a block of copper at the 2nd to last stage, at first they weren’t aging because they were together, etc..

Tip: Copper blocks oxidize 5x faster if no other copper blocks are within five blocks range.

Great guide. I spaced all mine out in a 16x16 block radius so each block had at least 4 block spaces between the rest. Took 3-5 hours for them to all fully change. Waited on the last two for over a hour I’d say. Not bad just worked on a wheat and cow farm. The hardest part was getting bees to spawn that took several irl days of playing lol

Another fast way of doing this achievement is by finding a trial chamber. It has fully oxidized copper blocks which are waxed. All you’ll have to do is collect those, cut them, than remove the wax and apply another coating. Helps skip the wait time but you’ll have to travel to find it.

Literally took me 40 minutes before I found a single vein of this stuff ;~; I found 23 diamonds before I found the enormous abundance of copper... I love my luck.

just found out pushing a beehive with a piston on bedrock breaks bee AI it will make them angry at the nearest player but also resets them, so if you use a clock to push/pull the hive every tick, the swarm will chase you forever and never sting, this has a short range though, and once outside it every bee will sting all at once, so watch out

Good explanation but I only used 1 block and i got both wax on and wax off advancements. U ONLY NEED ONE SINGLE BLOCK!!!!!!!!

You don't need to make so many of each block, you just need one of each and wax them backwards, 5head

I recommend waiting for them to oxizide by placing each copper '4' blocks away from each other first. Then pick them up with a pick-axe (you won't loose their colour) and put them in this formation as shown in the video. You're welcome

I don’t know if this is obvious but you have to be in the same render distance as the copper you place I learnt that the hard way the copper will only oxidize if you are near it at all times.

So that's how you do it! The way I did it is I took one of each cut version and because it takes so long to oxidize what I did is I hooked it up to a bell with redstone and then whenever one of them changed I would hear the Bell so actually I needed way more than that? It's a good thing I got so much copper and I didn't know what I should do with it now I know. I had completed the achievement halfway by doing what I did

THANK YOU I did this about 4 times but was stuck at 50% it turns out you’re not supposed to craft the waxed copper you’re supposed to click it with the honey in your hand AND THEN ADD IT BACK AFTER WHICH IS DOESN’T SAY ANYWHERE

I’ve waited around 48 irl hours and it is only at the 1st oxidation stage.

I know this is 2 years late but I actually just decided to max out my PS trophies like a month ago... you only need to do 1 of each, spaced 4 blocks apart, you only need 16 honeycomb and you dont need to do any of the extra axe interactions at the end... it'll pop after the last block on stage 4 is waxed n axed. I just did it 5 min ago so it is confirmed 👍🏻

It way easier to just get a copper block and just get a honeycomb then wax it, the use the axe to wax off, it’s easy

Huge time waste! Oxidization takes much longer when blocks are placed within 4 blocks of each other.

on pc i got the achiev ment from going in creative getting the blue copper and putting honeycomb on it thengetting an axe and taking it right off..............

Dont place your blocks like this everyone itll take nearly 20 hours irl to oxidise space them out 6 blocks then itll take maybe 1 hour

Mined for 45 minutes, visted 3 riveins, one mine shaft, two dungons, and found zero peices of copper
