Minelab Equinox 800 / 600 Quick tip / Avoid Bottlecaps / works also on Garrett ATpro / ATMax 

Very good of you to give these little helpful hints that you've picked up yourself and then passing them on. I've had 44 years of detecting experience in the U K here with a Minelab Sovereign, so now catching up with technology with an Equinox 600. Hope you are well and weather for detecting. We have had rain, so too wet for me, until tomorrow.

You are etter off setting up a 10Khz programme on your Nox's personal button. In10Khz if your ID of 15 starts bouncing around the high 20's then it more than likely to be a bottle cap or junk.

I've been pumpping the coil up and down, turning at a 90 degree angle. Next is switching to 5 KhZ.

Good tip, hope minelab are watching... Perhaps they can add a test mode to the next release. Something like a sine wave power level could achieve the same result .

i heard you need too pump in a setting first then go too all metal ..try it and maybe even ome of those non rusty tabs mite jump ..also get the sensitivity up ..
