Finally got one myself, arrives next week! Super excited, any quick advice ? Seen almost everything about it online now but I know the only way to learn your machine is to actually field test it. Crazy find!!!!!

Awesome! Yes, something you won't find in the owners manual. Before you use it, find some clean ground with no signals and move the coil on the ground in a figure 8 pattern for about 20 seconds. Then pump it up and down about 6" high to ground about 20 seconds, then repeat the figure 8. Takes a full minute to learn the ground. It will settle way down but it takes time. Run tape around the area where the coil cover (skid plate) ends on the coil. I use electrical tape stretched pretty tight. This is to keep the dust out of the area between the coil and cover. Dirt in that area can cause falsing. Lastly, make sure your coil wire is pretty tightly wrapped against the shaft. You don't want the coil wire wiggling or moving at all. It's a very capable machine and gets a bad rap from all of the chatter and noise, but most don't understand how to ground balance. Good luck out there! 🤠⛏️

Definitely the specimen!! Those other little ones would be tough to nail with my 6" round on the 3030 but def would have heard them on the 11" if I was swinging low and slow!! 🤠⛏️

Hi Mark. Saw you in a Gold Rush piece on CBS 13 that had you and Albert in it. Tracked you down on You Tube....Great Content. Saw the lastest one on California Flood Gold. Went to Ebay to try to find the 2018 Western Eastern Treasures Gold and Silver Magazine but was unsuccessful. Bummer. I noticed in this video that it looks like your using a minelab pinpointer. I haven't really had any really deep digs with it yet so I honestly can't say but I think this machine has it advantages over the proven depth (PI) machines like the SDC, GPX and GPZ series Minelabs. This machine can get in the areas where there is iron, nails and hotrocks and give solid visual and audio ID on nuggets. So rest assured that it will hear nuggets and save you lots of digging iron, etc like you would be subject to with the machines I mentioned above. The 1000 is very accurate and I'll take that over depth for now. Maybe after I have used the 1000 for a few hunts in a patch I might come back in slow with one of the heavy hitters and dig the whispers... Good luck!! 🤠

A good pick to buy is the Apex Pick but it carries and swings very heavy compared to other picks because it is very heavy duty and indestructible. My favorite pick for gold detecting is the Mako Pick. If you email male at my email in this video description I can get you in touch with both vendors. how many meter maximum deep?

Hello, the depth is subjective to the size (and density) of the object being detected. This machine features good depth when compared to any other machine in this price range. However the elite Minelab detectors such as the GPX series, SDC-2300, GPZ-7000 or the all New GPX-6000 are undoubtedly going to detect the deeper signals over this machine. At this price point though, this is as good as you can get!
