All I use is Minelab Metal Detectors. This Gold Monster 1000 would drive me insane to have to ground balance every time I stop for more than a few seconds. It looks like a really great travel detector and I like how it breaks down for easy transport and look it even has the optional backup battery case to use AA batteries. I hate those MD’s that uses internal batteries. If the machine goes dead in the middle of a hunt, no way to continue to hunt until the battery gets charged back up. Just like the NOX, I would’ve bought one but just because of the internal battery, I refuse to buy the NOX. Otherwise I would have gotten one in a heartbeat.
I traded my gold bug 2, a brand new Pioneer 9000 and brand new Tesoro U Max for a Minelab GM 1000 last Monday. I found 42 grams of gold in 5 days (combo of GPZ 7000 and Gold Monster 1000) . I started by passing many targets that kept bouncing back and forth gold, nail, gold, nail on the 1000 because they always ended up being iron. Two "gold targets" ended up being a travel packet of preperation H, 3 feet down (started by detecting it with the 7000). Another by the 1000, dug about 7" and was a taco sauce packet.
An outstanding tutorial, well done sir - l just bought one of these for gold hunting in Australia and this lesson gets me off to a great start - Anyway liked and subscribed - Cheers
Sweet, so as soon as you ground the machine correctly the lord of detectorists will gift you gold....if you kinda get it right Silver and if you did ok you get bronze...or a brass 22 bullet casing! Showed perfectly the effects of correct grounding, hot rocks and what the ultimate goal sounds like. Couldn’t ask for much more in an instructional/educational video like this Peace Charlie UK
Ideal! Look forward to seeing you find moar Golden Rocks - So glad you guys have 'family friendly' channels - I so hope this inspires kids to get out there in the Great Outdoors & discover what a wonderful place our world can be :)
Thank you Soo much for introducing a Minelab MD in traditional ENGLISH and not Australian, nothing against the Aussies because they are great people, bit sometimes the accents are so heavy it is difficult to understand what they are saying especially when they are drunk or have a few beers. Lol ..thanks again. I had reservations about this machine because I saw it her videos that also mentioned the noise of hot rocks and mineralized ground but failed to recognize and point out the microprocessor doing it's job. You guys are great!
Just purchased a monster 1000 All the way from Australia..... Can't wait to to hear those alien sounds singing from the device. Oh and nice find in the vid
that was great, luck is wicked like that, lead you a thousand miles to find it right under your nose and its almost unbelievable, but thats how it goes so I just enjoy the hunt and chuckle at the ups and downs, good luck, stay strong !
Great Videos... I tried everything with my Garrett AT Gold on PLANTED gold nuggets could not get beeps... I went and bought a Minelab Gold monster 1000 for this year...
Beau I was thinking what you need for those Desert Hunts is a Humvee I live here in the Coachella valley what they use here is Humvees to take people sightseeing through the desert and mountains it would also look good for you and what’s your background I like watching your videos because I’m familiar rattlesnakes and scorpions all that kind of stuff I hope kids are watching your video because they’re very educational thank you so much😎🌵
Man Beau seems to know everyone now he is hanging out with members from the duck dynasty crew I know they know there duck calls but I had no idea they new metal detectors too awesome!
Here I thought you were groaning over a pull tab. What are the odds, gold at your feet?! What a kick! This was so much fun! I'll bet you were lucky to get your detector back after that! Hope you found loads of your own nuggets!
@@pinchejuan What I can tell you is that I have found Bird shot in a field of grass with it. It will detect non ferrous medal in small amounts. Tje auto ground balancing works as advertised.
Well this show made up my mind I think I’m gonna get that detector for 1000 but like a lot of Americans I’m gonna have to save up probably about nine months for it but that’s OK I’m having fun with my mail detector right now I have a goal in life and thank you for keep your showing
Bill, this is Bob again. i just got my new ML gold monster 1000 few days ago. i saw the video you replaced the the ML rod. i have a Garrett AT Pro, been using it for almost ten years hunting in parks. the main reason why I decided to buy the minelab 1000 so i can use it at the beach and tag along the GPA club to hunt for nuggets at the claim site. i tested the ML at my backyard. i placed the tiny gold piece in a small plastic bag to check out the settings. i did ground balance gain using the 5" coil came with the kit. when i test the ground before gliding to the real gold piece, the gain set at the last dot before the dark square appears. the sound would not stop beeping and the upper bar showing gold side. it just keeps going to the right side. it should be on the left side or stays in the middle. my backyard compose of adobe soil. why is it showing gold on the right. when i place the gold particle in the plastic bag on the ground surface, it doesn't show anything but lot of chattering. i will look at the instruction to see what i did wrong. Ty for your time.
Newest technology at work. Will you be taking one home with you??? I always wondered if you find any Nuggets out east. I find these Black Gold Nuggets. There like covered in this black crust that is hard to remove.
Just got my Gold Monster from Bill last week. I've only had it out once. No nuggets yet but I'm finding tiny pieces of lead so I'm sure nuggets will follow. It's easy to use. I've detected for 40 years and the hardest thing to remember using this machine is to slow down. So far I love the Monster.
The gold monster 1000 is a bit more expensive easier to use but if you learn the gokdbug2 it’ll out perform the gold monster its has the best frequency for a VLF.
I tried ground balancing my Gold Monster like you showed us in the video, but it never beeped. Does that mean the ground doesn’t need to be balanced out?
I assume when the indicator bounces from side to side it’s trash, right? The reason being is because it can’t determine whether or not it’s iron or gold, so it can’t give a clear reading.
I was going to order one sometime ago and they told me they were out because of to many back orders to South Africa. So I bought a Fisher 75. Did I do good there?
Seems like a lot of work with the ground balancing after the detector has been idle. I wouldn’t know if it needed to be re-balanced or if it was a target. I guess with experience you would catch on.
Too bad metal detector companies don't just adapt cell phone processors (i'm sure there are good reasons not to) but the accelorameter etc would be super useful to for the microprocessor to know WHEN to ground balance and when to go into stand by.
