You make really good comparison videos and it always surprises me how many likes your videos get in relation to the number of views - I guess there’s just no pleasing some people! Thanks for the kind words anthonywestwood8489 Yeah it’s a funny one, I was following a channel and he went from 800 subscribers to 6.5k! In a few months.. how does that happen? Im interested in how machines work and after finding seriously deep hammered coins with the equinox 800 and Deus2 im trying to find out how the D2 and manticore work and which machine has the edge. I suppose I’m making videos that I would like to watch, I’m glad it’s helping you if you decide to grab a manticore.. I know a lot of people who are having great results with the manti. Good luck👍😊
@@DIRTBROSDETECTING I don’t think RU-vid follows logical reasoning, or otherwise you’d definitely have many more subscribers. Perhaps you need to throw in some air tests with a tape measure, which is somewhat akin to metal detecting air guitaring! Have you seen how many likes some of those videos get? No seriously, your format of making videos you’d like to watch yourself really stands out in the content. I look forward top watching your channel grow in 2024!

Great video showing both machines showing ID and audio. I am a XP Deus 2 user, but I still like to see how different technologies see targets in the ground. Very Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting video mate. I did have a Deus 2 on release but got rid when the needed update was delayed for months. Recently on the Manticore thinking I probably wouldn’t get on with it. As I’m normally a Deus 1 user. I was very surprised how easy I picked up the Manticore and it’s good to know that it’ll easily keep up with the D2 now I no longer own one. Nice brooch that mate.
Thanks AngloCelticMetalDetecting👍 I’m a sub of your channel and remember you having a bash on the manticore, glad your enjoying it now mate😊 I loved the deus 1, I remember being on a dig and romans were popping up everywhere with the deus and when everyone thought the patch was done I moved in with the nox 800 sensitivity right down and plucked two more out, the manticores the same it locks onto targets and stops you to dig them. The D2 is a cracking machine but I’ve had some surprising targets with the manti in iron and at depth so it’s going nowhere.. good machine👍 Cheers
Another interesting test with manticore and deus . The tekna program works well on cleaner sites. Great find Roman brooch. They are both good detectors but there’s something special about Deus.
Hi, yes. After doing various tests the manticore does not like freshly buried targets, I have a test bed which it is doing very well on, video coming soon👍
Another great comparison. I tried the Tekkna program on a Celtic site, unfortunately this program didn't hold up well there. I had my setup and switched to tekkna over targets jammed with iron. Tekkna often sent the target to 00 and put it in iron
Hi p1315, I’ve tested this and I don’t get degrading of the audio at all? If you have the iron id on it will even give you an Id on tagets below 42.. Cheers😊
