Mini Blinds Fix 

As a maintenance person working for a rental home company, I have to charge up to 60 bucks per blind plus my time to install. So that $25 dollar blind can cost you $100 per broken blind. This video is great , and for just a little time , tenants can save hundreds. Plus a little dawn soap/water spray bottle and a water hose , just spray em down, dry and they’re new again . “Get them deposits back”..😎

I fixed my blinds today thanks to this youtuber.Saved me $70 I didn't even take the blinds off.I just used clothes pins to hold and line up the blinds to put the string down the middle and hold in place.

Finally a way to FIX the blinds. Sick of the videos saying the fix them when all they do is put up brand new ones. You actually show how to fix them. Thank you.

This video is going to be a lifesaver if I can manage to do it lol. My cat broke off a couple of end pieces of our blinds and they are only a couple months old and they were 40 dollars so we really dont want to have to replace them so thank you!

This is a great video and very helpful. I'd just like to add that you're supposed to alternate sides of the ladder string with the pull string every three blinds going down. It's supposed to reduce wear.

This is great! We have a dog that thinks he has to see who is pulling in the driveway, so our miniblinds take a real beating; each has been replaced at least half a dozen times. This video is exactly what I was searching for! Man, I love being able to patch, darn, or in other words, 'fix' things rather than buying replacements unnecessarily. Thanks for posting this how-to.

Here because these types of blinds are illigal in Canada. The new safer versions are 4x the price. I have 3 slates to fix and excited to attempt this

Came across this site 1/2 hour ago. The job is now done! U saved me having to buy 3 sets of blinds in order to color match the one that was broken.

I live on a military base, and we have ancient blinds that are just brittle. So this video showed me how to fix it myself so I'm not bothered by the broken blinds, without having to pay the property managers for blinds that have seen better days.

Quick tip: you can use scotch tape to tape the string to something like a toothpick (or even a straight section of wire coat hanger if you're feeling really froggy) and use that to thread the string through the slats. This way you can do a few at a time. Little bit of a sanity saver. =)

Thank you for this video. Living in the desert all the top slats have sun rot and fell apart. But there are tons of unused slats at the bottom. Look forward to trying to repair them myself. And save a ton of money.

I am new here, and don't know if anyone has mentioned this already, but you can also use this method to shorten your blinds so you don't have a ton of unused slats hanging below your window or bunching up at the bottom when the shade is down. That is one of my pet peeves, I guess. It makes me crazy to go to someone's house where everything is all nice and fancy and see the big blob of mini-blinds hanging uselessly off the bottom of the shade. But, now I know not to pitch the slats I take out, as I can use them to repair my blind later! Thank you, Shane!

This was very instructive. Thank you for making this video. I was nervous fish lining the rope back through because I wasn't sure if it had to go a special way through the ladder rope. But I just kept going putting the rope back through without worrying too much and it worked!! Tysm!!!

Great video sir thank you. Realized I had cordless mini blinds so what I had was Lowes brand. There is a rod on top that works spring what I did was attach a vice grip pliers to end. Worked like a charm. Also I noticed I put string back on one side so other strings were moving. I realized you need to alternate putting back center string going from one side ti other to sort of thread them together so all string stays immobile.
