Mini Boxwood Standards 

A few days ago I picked up this basic boxwood shrub from a big box garden center and turned it into several mini boxwood standards. I was unsure if it would turn out the way I wanted, as this was the first time I had attempted this type of disassembly of a shrub in an attempt to make a topiary. All is well with all the mini standards, and they are getting acclimated to topiary life. I'll be hitting them with TopBuxus in a few days and give them a good feeding with water from our pond. Once they’ve acclimated, they’ll all get their first haircuts and I’ll start the process of training them into a topiary shape. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you!
