Mini Cooper JCW: Maxed Out Tech! 

Alex did you know that if you hold down the button for the lights and let them go through a full colour cycle that when you let go the LED's will just go on a colour loop and continually run through them all... It is pretty cool. (Can everyone like this so Alex will see it)

The windows on my 06 corsa go up and down with the key. TECH!!

If you push the ambient lighting switch forward and hold it until the lights blink twice, you can put them onto disco mode.

Don't get me wrong Alex the H&K sound upgrade is great, especially for high fidelity sound, but over exposure to high volume will quickly wreck the setup. I have the upgrade in my 435 BM and I rarely listen above 30-40% volume, probably listened two or three times at 80% and it's already blown 2 of the speakers.. oh and the car is just over a year old :/

His previous MINI (R56) if you held down the unlock button the windows would go down just like this one does.

On most cars if you hold unlock button the windows roll down

Just gonna say the Harmon Kardon system they put in the mini 2 door hardtop is one of the best stock systems of any car.

the windows and roof closing via the remote is known as "global closure", it`s old tech, i have had bmw`s from the 90`s that do this, admittedly though, it did NOT unfold the mirrors, great review by the way, keep em coming......

the car also parks by itself you have to flick the parking switch then you drive slowly next to the space you want to park in it detects if it big enough then it will say put your indicator on and put the car into reverse and take your hands of the steering wheel then it will park but parks 10mm away from the curb so it protects your alloys and wheel more instruction come up on the display. Alex you forgot to add that when plugging the phone into the car when using mini connect and using something like Spotify when using 4G it uses the cars antenna instead of the phones built in one to improve signal strength. Also do you have the upgraded exhaust that mini offer? Nice Video bro!

All the mini cars out there my favourite one is the one Alex has , They sound brilliant, My auntie and my mum's boyfriend works for Mini and I always look at the new ones in stock ...

I know you probablly knew but if you hold the light colour change button for about 30-40 secs than it carrys on changing colour for your drive.

Anyone else notice at 11:07 the trim moves, like it clicked back into place when he pressed the heated seats button

audi and mercs had this tech 8 years ago mate. We know what everything is man, like the HUD display and the keyless go, don't explain what it is like we don't what it is. Don't get me wrong it's a nice car but for that kind of money u could get a specced out Audi A4!

Great video demonstrating the features of the JCW! It's worth noting that some of the features, specifically the ones relevant to the remote (opening/closing windows and mirror articulation), are restricted depending on the sales region of the car. My JCW's a US variant, and I needed change configuration variables of the software using BMW software to enable the mirror features in addition to closing the windows with the remote. Opening worked however out-of-the-box.

why would you need all of this im driving an ancient mazda mx 5 and the only connectivity it has is an aux input.........but you know what i love it!!!!

lol i have mini 2007 for 3 years and didnt know about that key that opens windows. oh man i was happy like a kid :D will use that in future coz first thing i do when i come to car is open windows.

Sorry to say that's not maxed out, I ha e the same car, and it parks itself, as I can see next to the start stop button, yours does not, also it might be keyless, but you still have to open the car, you can get it with a button on the door Handel rather then getting the key out all the time

the Audi A4 from the 90s used to do that with the key lol

My 2006 Mini Cooper does the unlock button open every window and roof thing. Not anything new or crazy, lol

Hello not sure if you did a video on it but in this video you didn't discuss the snap in adapter, wouldn't it do the same thing as the USB chord connector? I noticed that USB connector sucks at charging the phone. I had to buy a USB charger for the cigarette hole. Been thinking of just getting the snap in adapter, wdyt??? Is it worth it. Oh we have the same car 2016 Mini JCW.

i no tech is Alex vibe but hes got a nice car with a nice sounding exhaust why doesn't he love the car for what it is then for a tech hub
