Mini Cooper remote key battery replacement 

I have tried every small flat head screwdriver I own and cannot get the key case open. The screwdriver will not go in and a knife won't work either. The case in the video appears to be already separated when the screwdriver ins inserted between the two halves making the separation of the two halves appear to be really easy.

I have replaced the battery but does not work on the car. Any pointers
