I don’t know how you continue to create such fantastic miniatures so perfectly crafted and suited to your theme. Hi, Gretchen! These are absolutely stunning. If you want to make tiny bows, check out some RU-vid videos on making bows with a fork. The tinier, the fork, the tinier your bow will be. And those large Decorative forks that you hang on your walls make great larger bows. They turn out perfect every time. Love watching you and everything that you do.

Very pretty! 🙂As you pointed out, not historically accurate- but historical accuracy is not the point! They'll look great tucked into a tiny suitcase or on hangers at Bess Dressed. Corsets, historically, had to withstand a good bit of strain, so corsets for daytime wear were typically made of sturdy fabric. They could have pretty trim or a more delicate fabric overlay, though. And, of course, nighttime wear could be less practical, especially on a honeymoon. Disclaimer: I'm not an expert, I just enjoy watching some historical enthusiasts on RU-vid.

Me too I truly do love historical stuff! I'm such a sucker for an old movie! Especially the ones when the ladies wore the really fancy dresses with the hoop skirt and the bustles and the hats, high buttons shoes and ruffles and lace shirts!!!
