I am totally amazed at your fabrication skills and keeping it all in your head. Your builds are awesome and this will be no different.

Not to disrespect his builds because they are impressive but once you get the basics figured out it’s actually as easy as it looks especially if you’re doing it all from your head that way you’re not trying to follow a specific plan if you’ve got a good idea what you want to build and you’ve done it once or twice before it becomes almost 2nd nature I used to be a millwright fabricator and it was a very enjoyable job and it wasn’t that difficult my job required fabricating machinery on an industrial scale and installing it and a lot of times also designing and constructing the building around it and the supporting machinery all the way down to the handrails on the cat walks I recommend it as a job to anybody who enjoys building things it’s incredibly rewarding you’re not doing the same thing day in and day out and the pay is incredible just don’t work with people who cut safety corners you could end up very injured and very broke if things don’t go right

@600wheel 2 года назад
@@larrydavidson3402 Did you read what I said the first thing was that I think he does great builds and I was telling you that to maybe give you the necessary confidence do you think you could do it yourself so if you found it insulting sorry man I can’t help you there was nothing insulting about it whatsoever maybe you should sit down and talk through what is bothering you with your wife or whatever is wrong with you because damn you’re looking for anger in what was meant to be a positive statement I was simply saying it’s really easy to do that also go out and do it yourself this is what an insult is f•ck you

I agree!! I have been with his channel since the beginning and his fab skills are 150% better, sometimes I would cringe 😬 at his first projects but hey I did the same crap when I was young. I'm 57 now and the thing that my ole pops taught me was if it was built by man it can be torn apart and rebuilt better.

Personally I like the front forks and triple trees, they give it a chunky, beefed up look. Carry that through the whole project and it'll look beastly, in the same vain as the chunky looking engine IMHO 👍😎
@nzzs203
@nzzs203 2 года назад
That turn table should be plenty slow enough from what I saw. I've been an iron worker for most of my life and in that time did a lot of pipe welding. You'll have to get the feel for it, but use a #9 cup, adjust your tungsten maybe ⅜ past the cup, turn your heat up and learn to walk the cup. That will speed you up quite a bit and your welds will be a lot smoother. I'm not knocking your welds at all, but they wouldn't pass welding pipe. Just a tip👍
@Hellsong89
@Hellsong89 2 года назад
Also "you cant hold anything bigger" as he said.. well there are those grooves on the bottom plate to bold pretty damn massive chuck on and if speed is issue for him, he could chance gearing or add gearing phase to make it slow enough. Ground clamp not holding in place.. well duh when its made for bolt on connection and from there to ground clamp. This thing would cost bit more if they included copper grounding wire as well.

@ellisberry8747 2 года назад
I just built a pocket e-bike. Got a blata minimotard. Stripped it down. Fitted a 48v 1800w motor and wired it all up. It’s great. I can do 36+ mph on my tiny bike making 0 noise and getting smiles off people. Despite the fact a 50cc 2 stroke does like 20 mph and people get MAD if you ride those around. And it accelerates like a rocket too

May I offer an EZ way to spread open a lock collar ? just thread a bolt through the opposite side with a piece of sheet metal in slot , turning the bolt against the sheet metal will spread open the collar just enough . Also , to "prep" your new collars to have the exact amount of permanent install clearance , thread bolt in just enough to "bend" the collar open a few thousands .

Wall outlet power adjustment is super cheap. Regulate power out the outlet. There used for soldering. It will slow your unit down. You’ll have all the range of pedal but you can set this regulator thing low so your pedal low speed is lower witch would also mean you max speed will be lower. But it has a dial 1-10 so you can get that unit in the range your looking for. Idk wat it’s called but prolly google soldering power regulator and you’ll see it plugs in wall then your unit plugs into it and we’ll it will wrk.

With TIG welding to get it flowing better you need more amps. I would probably use 130 amps on that piece en just go dap dap dap or walk it over the wire. TIG can be a lot faster than you would think.

Just a tip when setting the bead have the tire standing up and not laying down if something ever goes awry and the back bead blows off the rim now you have this tire shooting at your face at x amount of miles an hour. I'm only suggesting this because when I was a teenager I had a truck tire blow off the bead when I was trying to set it. It launched straight up 25 ft hit the ceiling and came back down on the hood of a Pepsi truck. The only thing that stopped it from taking my jaw off was my two hands which broke 3 bones on my left and 4 on the right. I get your tires are much smaller but they built pressure much quicker. You're working on a workbench and your face is about a foot and a half away stay safe dude.

I know its just a small thing. But so many other channels get lazy with it and ruin what would otherwise good video. So thanks. Also wondering if your follow Macro Machines. Be awesome to see you two do a mini colab. I.e..bar stool racer or something small and quick to build.
