Beautiful. I subscribed a few months back and there wasnt much progress happening, very happy to see this pop up in my feed and see your progress! Nice work, can't wait to see it finished!
Thanks, not sure exactly how quick it'll all happen. I do snow removal a couple hours away from the property. I can only make it down there when it's not snowing. I'm hoping to take the summer off to get it finished
It can warm up for sure in Matt and Goldies place which is nice for the winter. I don't think they are really venting to much to get the heat out but in the summer time for sure. We are actually going to do a updated home tour of there place very soon... @@nialldivers
Do you have to vent the i-joists before insulation? With most vaulted ceilings, builders will use baffles between the sheeting and the insulation to allow airflow. Is that needed? I really like watching your progress! Keep up the good work!
No, I'm going to use sprayfoam insulation. It gets sprayed directly onto the Sheeting. The reason you'd have to vent it is to allow moisture to escape. The sprayfoam creates an air-tight seal, so no moisture should get in. Thanks for the comment
