Mini Earthship Build part 9: Prepping for Thermal Wrap 

In this video I prepped the trench for the thermal wrap and vapor barrier to go in. The thermal wrap is 4" of rigid foam insulation that insulates the internal mass of the wall. It essentially gives you a 5 foot thick thermal battery that will get charged by the winter sun entering the building. This will then radiate the stored heat back into the room to keep it warm in the winter.
