Last time I was there it was taken over by a movie crew, wastes 6 hours of my day

Fish in a barrel. My pops once took me on a two mile hike in vallecito Colorado, to an area called the beaver ponds. It was exactly what it was called about 6-7 small ponds linked together by a creek. My mom was along for this hike so we didn’t go to fish but to picnic. When we got to the ponds I immediately saw a huge swirl of rainbow trout just swimming in circles. It looked like a hatchery. When I became an adult I took a couple friends to check it out and this time we brought our fishing gear. Sadly when we got to the ponds they were completely dried up. People at the campground below said people had been attacked by the beavers, so the beavers were killed or removed and the ponds quit collecting water. It was a magical place. And this completes story hour 😂

Great video! I'm wondering if a 7' plus rod is essential to casting and jigging action. I am an older guy and i just don't seem able to handle a fishing rod longer than about 6'. What is your opinion?

Nice fishing. I just started to trout dish again after retiring and am also just getting set up for mini jigging. I have a new two new fishing partners my 8 yo grand daughter and my 4 yo grandson. Now they can’t wait to go fishing with me. I am blessed truly. Enjoyed your video thanks.

Well they still haven’t stocked pyramid lake this year and it sucks one month behind but DFG sure keep raising prices for licenses and not return the favor 85 bucks for license in California most expensive in united states
