@NIGHTRIDE I think Casey recorded daily vlogs with like 1-2 days in advance. It helps you have some time to take off from editing just to focus only on filming and taking your time 😅
Sam maybe u should upload only 2 videos a weeek? Like 30 minutes videos with chill talking and some garage works. And If there is some special videos you will upload them in saturday.
Sam. These videos are literal works of art honestly. The friendship the cars the ups and downs its all amazing. But please dont get burned out. If we have to wait i think that i can speak for everyone that loves nightride. We will wait with smiles on our faces for another amazing nightride video. Thank you for making these videos.
Don't ever stop editing, it is what brought a lot of us to this channel. You have an editing style that is very unique, and I haven't seen it anywhere else on RU-vid. It makes your videos so relaxing and enjoyable. Also, please, don't burn out. Like others have said, even if you release two videos a week, we'll understand and we'll 100 percent watch them. Take much needed rest when you have to, and don't strain yourself. We love you guys!
despite it being sad that it’s the last daily dose of nightride, the more important thing is your mental health. please don’t burn out and make content creation an enjoyable hobby and not a tiring routine!❤️🔥❤️🔥
Your filming and editing are a big part of what makes this channel so special! I would rather have 2 videos a week with your quality, than 7 videos a week but edited by someone else.
The reason you had fisheye's is because your volume screw on the gun was too far out. You cant just pork it in homie. The reducer in the base coat reacted with the primer. Always use a primer sealer before base coat. Hope that helps. 👍
Love watching your vids, it's clear the amount of effort you put into getting them just right and totally agree an editor just couldn't match the same vibe. 12/10 content, super happy the algorithm let me discover you guys! Sometimes paint can be tricky - something like someone using WD40 in the room over can lead to mad fisheyes. Not sure on acrylic primers, never got along with them. Epoxy straight onto pumpers no issues, sometimes use a product called adhesion promoter if I've reached bare plastic and not had an issue yet with flaking or anything of sorts. Glad you got it sorted in the end, the result is amazing and the journey was.. well educational :D Much love from the UK!
Sam we understand why you feel so exhausted from the daily dose of nightride, you always put out quality content and spend a lot of time making the vlogs enjoyable. Thank you guys for these, enjoyed every episode
i love to watch youre videos in the evening whit some snacks and i just enyoy watching it idk but you guys helped my depression so i am a happy person just beceaus of you guys(srry my englisch is very bad)
I’m a painter and just a heads up for next time you did the right thing the first time by starting again as u had oil and water in basecoat but second time you got silicone in the lacquer all you needed to do was sand down the lacquer flat again making sure not to rub through to the colour and re lacquer all panels and should look absolutely fine , watching this I really feel your pain as I know this all too well 😩hope this helps for next time guys 🫶🏼
with all that cool black pieces fresh painted, in my opinion, now is the time to pick those chrome things around the "back" windows and put it black as well, I think it will fit very nicely!
i absolutely love the chats Sam has with us, seems very direct and feel like that is something a lot of creators are missing. Keep up the amazing content but try not to burn yourself out!
If your doing gloss black again it’s much easier to use 2k direct gloss. It’s less volatile. The wrinkles you got on the skirts were from the solvent in your base coat eating through the primer where it was rubbed thin, and it has reacted with likely aerosol paint on them previously. 2k has less solvent in it and no need to clear coat. The second time you’ve got silicone (maybe), it’s possible that your gun/airline had got contaminated from plugging it in the wrong place the first time. You can also get fish eyes like that if you put the paint layers on too fast without proper flash off time, and this is called solvent pop. That might be more likely as it was ok on the 3rd attempt.
6 days job? 33 min of joy and good vibes! But seriously go take a break mate. It has been an amazing daily dose of Nightride but all addictions need to be in small doses. *cough*
Daily videos are hard when you edit your own videos. I don’t mind waiting a few days between videos. It’s better if you enjoy everything you’re doing, instead of killing yourself trying to make deadlines
We love the content. Whatever you put out will be appreciated. I hope you don’t feel pressure to make more and more videos, just take it easy, do what you love, and in turn, videos you do make will just get better. The Daily Dose is really great but if you don’t enjoy making them, it’s not worth making ✌🏼
DAily Dose of Nightride was pretty cool content, but... IMO: in terms of daily videos wold be enough to make 5-6 mins content with not so much editing ( spending hours of editing is not worth so much), remember that your viewers has also other channels subscribed, and watching every 25 min every day may be too long? idk, I leave it to your free interpretation. Whish you the best, and keep going!
I love the STYLE of the vlog videos, but it's definitely NOT necessary to do it every day. Hope you can take something from this experience into your future videos! :)
hmm, i dont think that it was the compressor air line fault. something from the products reacted and you had that result. maybe too much greace/oil on the bumpers from the use off 30 years? maybe to much sanding? maybe not the proper primer? the result its great despite the struggle! 😍 have you considered an aluminium wing (like APR type)?🤔
Well done! Yes it is a lot of freaking work, so much so that I don't think people understand what is all involved in making videos, especially daily. I do love your style of video, the music is very cool and fits your style. Just keep creating the awesome content. Weather or not it's daily that's your choice. But I do look forward to your videos. I think I m going to send you some hammers. By the way the 86 bumpers look very cool painted. It did make all the difference.
When the poll on instagram came out about daily vlogs i was really exited and i also voted for it but i was also a bit concerned that it might be too much for you. I think its completely fine if you don't do daily uploads! A new Nightride video is always something special for me even more so if you don't upload everyday. So please take a break and don't burn yourself out! Much much love to you and the rest of the crew
The videos wouldn’t be the same without your editing! Please don’t burnout, as much as me and everyone else loves the daily dose, I’d rather it didn’t affect the rest or the channel or your personal health. ✌️
I like your vids! 👍 On my opinion the problem with the sideskirt is, the front is to high! ☝️❤ When everything is on one level and parallel to the floor it should look beautiful 😍
Theses daily dose if nightride videos are amazing have u thought about seeing if each day someone else is filming to get some stress off of u (not saying u aren't amazing at filming) would be nice to show off different days and what the boys are doing with there time at the garage. Just a idea I would like to share with u guys.
omg i love you guys you are inspiring me to actually start me and my friends go kart project that we wanted to do like yours. keep up the amazing content
Thanks for the video, it was already clear that you need a break from shooting and editing for your personal life, Personally I really like these daily doses, maybe allocate one week a month for daily dose as an idea
Bro i m not paintet, but i guess its that cause u not use filter when u put paint into spray pistol.(In first run u are just move paint from novol container to pistol)
nice vids. i like the daily dose series but i also like the normal vids, so if it means you're not gonna burn out dont hesitate to space out the uploads
I absolutely loved getting the daily vids. I really just can't get enough of all the Nightride guys. Hope to see more content soon even if it isnt daily content
Thank for these daily dose of Nightride videos. I've really enjoyed them. We all support you for wanting some more time to do other stuff. Now Marek needs to make a Weekly dose of Nightride intro! 😂
casey niestat had vlogging as his only job, and that looked stressful. you have a full time job in the garage so you basically work two full time jobs. dont get burned out. remember you do have to enjoy yourself. bumpers and sideskirt look sooo good now btw
yall should fill the front with crushed rock.. not sure how expensive that is in poland but would do really well for eliminating that mud out front.. over time it compacts to almost like asphalt over time
PAINTING TROUBLESHOOT: all those bumps in the paint is what's called FishEyes. to fix this is funny enough called FishEye remover and it goes into your clear coat before you spray. only takes a few drops not a whole bottle
Dude i would have attacked with lacquer thinner soaked grey scotch bright, soft pad on a DA 320, black sealer, black primer, jitter bug with 6-800, blow all the dust off...WITH THE FILTERED HOSE THIS TIME, silicone remover, mask, another wipe down with wax and grease remover aka silicone remover, couple passes with a tack rag, adhesion promoter, shoot with the slowest hardener you have because of temp and let it fkash between coats. It looked like you were going wet to wet which in the cold, is a bad idea. Also, try not to spray everything in different directions. Always set your parts how they sit on the car and make sure you dont have your parts so close together thats why youre getting sparatic textures. Its all overspray derived. Also, try water based paint. I use sikkenz. Best paint in the world.
Is not always as easy as we think it will be. Had that before, painted the bumper like 3x. It just makes you feel like just burning this up :D. Just painted my wheels today, seems ok, but will see it tomorrow when dry. Keep on doing great job guys :)
DDON is a great series!!! But please dont do what makes u tired or sick. We all love love the passion u all give into the videos, so please just do what makes u happy. cause it makes us happy too !!!! Love from germany
What’s up NightRide Crew Hey I had a question regarding the music playing at 3:15 on your video. Could I sample this music with your permission? In case you possess ownership of rights.
I've had the same happen to some of my motorcycles while I was painting it with rattle cans. Does anyone know why the paint cracks like that and what to do to prevent it?
So good, I simply just love watching NIGHTRIDE in any format they want to make it in. I think Sam should stay as editor. He brings a unique artistic aspect to these videos that I fear could get lost by hiring an editor. I could be wrong though. who knows. But working yourself to death is NO GOOD. So I say, RIP daily dose of NR, it was a good run! Love and Peace!
Remember Sam, quality is always better than quantity. Daily dose was cool and fun, but if it takes a toll on your private and mental life, don't overdo it. I think we all can handle 5-day dose of Nightride, if it means everyone from the squad is doing fine, and you can do your best on the editing and filming, not feeling pressured ^^
I can't help but wonder how the finances of this situation work. Sam is the main RU-vid guy doing all the editing and stuff so he's clearly the head honcho. But how is the ole youtube money distributed? Is it based on screen-time of each homie? Are his homies all his employees? There was a time when I was tossing around the idea of doing weekly uploads in hopes of monetizing my channel but I couldn't get over how weird the idea felt of filming the homies hanging out for cash. idk why
Hey Sam! No, you dont have to do the daily vlogs everytime. Even only 2-3days a year you give us a daily dose of Nightride, it's enough. Even not at all, we still be happy. It's not about how often you give video to us, it's about you guys, your laugh, friendship, your content and 'smart ideas' and our love to car that make us enjoy your video. And of course your filming and editing skill too! So no, dont get burned out, even if you need a break, but don't stop please 😥 Hope you guys doing well! Cheers 🥳
I would recommend for the stream to get a simple desktop as it will not have common issues of laptops, crashing and weird batteri issues. So a desktop like a Lenovo or dell with a simple I5 or Ryzen G5000 series. Nothing big but something that will last and will run day out without complaning!, I use to work with AV gear so i know a thing or two ;)
Yeah, don't burn yourself out for content. I personally wouldn't even watch "true" daily dose content, its just too much and too similar. Looking at how other channels do it, a well done nicely edited 30 minute video per week is fine, and keeps people around, just like weekly TV shows did before streaming took over. This "homeopathic" content keeps people invested and prevents tgem, and you, from getting burned out.
The car looks perfect, but I dont think the frame on the back windows gonna be chrome for long... :D by the way good job guys. 👍 If you think the editing and content making consumes too much time just get back for the weekly videos. All of us would rather wait for videos I guess. Just dont get tilted in the process.
