Awwww that was so lovely putting our Lego model into the Vlog, it’s made the kids day! We were all very excited to see it and glad you both liked it! 😊
Loved the hype building with that staff member at the entrance encouraging all of the cheering and wolf whistling! Charlotte’s run was brilliant! Just so wholesome ❤
When I went to Thorpe park last weekend, I’ve never seen so many people run when it opened- everyone to saw too! And Hyperia isn’t even open yet!! Was a busy day, but we still managed to get on most things 👍🔥
Lucky you saw them. When I went to Legoland windsor in May Minifigures speedway wasn't a thing all I saw was a mansion of some sort but it was good I hope you enjoy it
I remember wanting to ride the old Jungle Coaster as a kid but l I wasn't tall enough. Still one of the saddest removals I have lived through along with bubbleworks. Minifigure Speedway is exactly what legoland has needed for the last 15 years
Really enjoyed this vlog, thank you both. Such an infectious atmosphere for the grand opening of the new minifigures ride, I was excited just watching !! Charlotte set off like a rocket 🚀 ha ha. Love it when Parks make an effort (with genuine enthusiasm - and not dragging things out) to join in, like with counting down and the flag waving etc. The ride looks awesome with great interaction between the two ride teams. I agree Shawn they need to maybe add banners or figures on the roof area at some point in the near future. Only been to Legoland once but enjoyed it. How lovely was that lego model those kids made of you both ❤ what a sweet gesture.
Hey there Shawn and Charlotte minifigure speedway is perfect for LegoLand and like Charlotte said it’s just what they need and have a lovely day today I love you Shawn and Charlotte and my favourite RU-vidrs xxxxxx
Nice new two additions to the resort & park, only yesterday on opening day got to experience one side as left it till closing to ride. Was very good experience, got the opportunity to ride on front row on "Legends". Think honestly will be good once landscaping has grown higher, but still think theming could be added more around the area? Especially more around coaster layout & station? As looks a bit bare, maybe a tunnel? Mountain / hills etc? Maybe a tunnel behind the sign? With still space for all to put hands in the air and interaction? Aswell maybe like Red Force in Portadventura? A cheering stand & viewing area could be added? Maybe at top? Giving interactions to offriders and onriders? Honestly found it less intense on going forwards when on front row, but then was surprised on G-Force when going backwards, surprised on how much I felt. Wasn't expecting it, but was a good experience. Will give review fully via a short in future on channel, but is a good new addition for 2024. Hopefully will ride "All Stars" on a future visit & judge that. But nice vlog, have liked & shared & look forward to future vlogs to come. Cheers. 😀👍
Its wierd how as someone who has grown easily out of the "playing with lego's" phase Legoland Parks always feel the best and wierdly welcoming and also another great vlog from you two ❤
I did both sides of Speedway today. There's quite high g forces on the banked turns. Quite intense for a family ride. The ride has a really nice feel to it with the theming, the announcements and the friendly staff. There's a nice view from the top of Legoland. I could see Windsor Castle and London - but couldn't see Hyperia. I think Hyperia is hidden behind the hills of Windsor Great Park.
We need more dueling coasters!!! Stampida is always great fun, even with how rough it is and those hydraulic lap bars. You can tell its layout was designed by John Wardley
@@thecremeegg even then, there’s more to it than just two coasters built side by side. With chain lift racers, there is a computer system that weighs each train, based on how much power the chain lift motor is using to haul the train up the lift hill. They then use this to make the race more ‘fair’ if one train is lighter than the other
12:50 even a clone like Woodstock Express at Dorney Park-that's a terrain coaster when most of those Zamperla models are on solid ground like Little Devil at Great Adventure and Coca Cruiser at Hersheypark-it adds a bit of character to a kids coaster that otherwise looks pretty standard. Movie World in Australia is basically getting Vekoma's version of this-and that's going to be on flat ground.
I love your videos especially hearing your opinions and reviews of the rides and going to all the places around the world to visit the theme parks and cruises. Thank you for doing what you are doing. Helena xx
Another great well balanced informative vlog. Charlotte’s presenting skills have improved so much, so proud of her. Love you two and all that you do ❤️
Great video Shawn and Charlotte from the opening day of Minifigure Speedway at LEGOLAND Windsor! keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte.😀😀👍👍
Got on both and was at the back on Allstars when you two were at the back on Legends on your first go. Great ride and lovely to meet you finally at my home park.
Hey Shawn and Charlotte! Brilliant vlog as always! I’ve always loved going to Legoland since I was a small child and I agree with the sentiment that Minifigure Speedway is a perfect new addition to the park! Very interested to see what becomes of the old Viking River Splash! Much love to you both!
I was there for the original opening date but then obviously missed it due to the delay. Looks great & seems to be exceeding most people's expectations....LL desperately needed this!
I cant wait to see my daughter’s face when she first sets her eyes on this coaster. She was very interested in it when we last went at Christmas! Thank you for sharing this amazing opening it’s made me feel like I was there with you all!
This would fit really well on the hill in Florida where Flying School used to be and driving school is right underneath so it would fit in perfectly with the theme.
A bit off topic, but if you want a great suggestion for an immersive experience, I can't recommend Wake the Tiger in Bristol enough. As a fan of theming, I think you would get a real kick out of it, if it is not on your radar already. Best immersive experience in the UK in my opinion.
30:16 - Correction: The Jungle Coaster sits where the Legoland Hotel is now. Shawn referenced the 'Castle Hotel' which is where Dino Safari and the original Dino Dipper sat (Dino Dipper re-themed to the Merlin ride in Knight's Kingdom (formerly Castleland)). Also nice to hear the Lego Universe music in the background.
Looks like a fun and colourful coaster but to me there’s too much 2D theming with only a few minifigures knocking about. The only Lego I actually noticed (correct me if I’m wrong) was the Lego “lights” on the entrance sign and the trains otherwise it’s just a tin shed with loads of 2D signs everywhere. Doesn’t look as high quality as you’d expect in my opinion (which is formed just from videos).
Went to Legoland today 1st ride on Minifigure Speedway it is excellant we was 2nd train out got there for 9.30am and went straight there def worth getting there asap as when came out massive queue
Minifigure Speedway actually looks like quite a good set of coasters and im hoping to get back to the park for my first visit since October in 2020 to experience them both as wrll as 2021's addition Flight of the Sky Lion which im still yet to experience so hopefully at somepoint im 2025 i can get down to Legoland as it is my childhood park and there is some great rides there!
How come there is different height restrictions wether accompanied by and adult? Its a genuine question i just can't get my head around it unless its due to weight distribution for someone under that height
