I adore all these tips and surprisingly do most of them. I always have one cleaner I use for everything close at hand, for the focus areas I focus on the rooms, hallway and bathroom and my hubby focuses on the kitchen and living room (his choice). I never thought to clean the shower while in it, so gonna start doing that! For laundry I usually designate it for one day each week but I'm Definetly gonna try it for a week and see if I like a load a day better. My ideal pajama clean would be folding laundry, I love sitting and just folding away.

I appreciate that marriages all have divisions of labor but why are so many husbands allowed to not have any idea to clean up after themselves. You don’t have to clean up after a grown man he’s capable of doing some bare minimum cleaning up. This isn’t directed at her specifically it’s something I’ve noticed more generally

I think in Sarah's case Kiran does his share of household and child care. When you are a type A like Sarah, I understand since I'm one also, it is just faster, easier and done better when we do it. I don't expect people in my house to clean, yet they are to leave areas as they found them, no messes. If they have made a snack I better not be able to tell when I go into the kitchen. This must start with kids at early age, and husbands are a luck of the draw.

I know right?!?!? Here in Italy lots of men are like that, we call them "mammoni" because their mommy never taught them how to take care of themselves, as another unlucky woman would do that afterwards... I know it's a social thing and not mommy's fault (or better, not entirely) but it's SO frustrating I can't even explain (Luckily I've also met many strong feminist young men along my way ahahah)

I've been teaching my boyfriend how to clean things properly since we started dating so I don't have to deal with that issue when we get married 😂 He appreciates it too since he's living on his own right now and has been able to keep his place looking nicer than before when he was just doing things without knowing how to do them well.

I literally listen to this while cleaning my office, it was awesome! I love cleaning my kitchen when all she kids are in bed and the hubby is winding down with a show upstairs. I love having sparkling countertops and a clean floor when I wake up in the morning. It just gives me a rush of energy.

Everything you say is correct Sarah. It is easy for us that are disciplined enough to do daily. Those who are over whelmed just shut down. So doing a little everyday is so easy. I have everything in a home, once I put something away, that is it home forever. I also use the one touch rule, use it and put it away at the same time. Clean up as much as you can as you go when cooking and do you dishes right after dinner, it is too easy to not do them otherwise. I have always done daily laundry, like you say, strip your bed, wash the linen, dry and remake bed, do all dirty towels at once, do all dark, do all lights, wash, fold and put away, don't ever leave in dryer. Clutter is almost every ones downfall, you have all the tips for that. I hope people will listen to you.

I do 2 loads of laundry a day. 1 load of clothes and such, 1 load of towels or bedding. Usually my 8 yr old son does 1 load and folds and puts it away. We hand wash our dishes... I probably spend an hour or so on dishes everyday 😫 I do the same thing with the shower! I keep a spray bottle under the sink and spray it, then get in, scrub, and then shower. I have a toilet bowl cleaner and 1 all purpose cleaner for everything else. It’s just vinegar, water, dish soap, and sometimes some essential oil.

The Jammie clean! That’s so good! I actually cannot, I cannot go to bed without going through my whole apartment and making sure everything is in its place. And the kitchen has to be spotless, nothing in the sink, nothing on the counters, coffee pot clean and ready for the morning. I cannot express the joy I feel in the morning, coming out to my main living area and having everything In order. I find that when I don’t do this I get so distracted in the morning when the first thing I want to do is grab some coffee and spend time in the word and with the Lord. So, yeah, great tips. I think I’m already doing things pretty similar to you 👍🏼

I clean in the shower too, it’s amazing. I used to HATE cleaning the shower and let it get orange and moldy and gross but now I always have a clean shower and it’s wonderful. I feel like I deserve a clean and tidy home so I enjoy cleaning and tidying.

I like cleaning the kitchen before bed because I like a clean kitchen in the am. We keep it clean throughout the day, so it’s not too crazy unless we had a big dinner. Soooo satisfying to wake up to a clean kitchen!

Totally clean the shower when I'm showering too! Clean shower first (natural products!) and then myself. Finish off with a quick spray down of the glass/walls to ensure any soap I used gets washed away 👌

I love to organize and put things back into the homes I made for those items (it reminds me of the organization I already did so it gives me joy and a confidence boost) and I LOVE to vacuum. Since I downsized into a smaller apartment, I can grab my dyson and vacuum the whole place in like 10 minutes. THE BEST!!

My Pj clean is every night I take 10 minutes to tidy up my space so everything is in it’s home. This way I wake up to a clean space. This also prevents me from ever having to do like an hour long clean up of my space 🥰🙂.

I only do a jammy clean when hubby is working late, but it is my favorite!! Love me a good clean kitchen. Usually we put the kids in bed and ask each other “tag team clean?!” Were able to knock out the kids toys/dishes/counters and floors in 15 minutes or less

I have one cleaner for everything (besides occasional dog accidents in the house). Its half white vinegar and half water. I LOVE it! Also, fav room to clean is bathroom because it's small and easy to pick up♡

my jammie clean would be the kitchen counter, or tidying up some catch up areas in the hallway. Whereas in the mornings (at the least every second morning, part of morning routine) I sweep the floor and I really like it by now: It's quiet and the surroundings are still quiet too so early, I can think about my day or just wake up some more and think nothing much :)
