This is an amazing system! Living in an apartment I was so worried about homeschool supplies spreading uncontrollably. Also I worked for 3 years with college students with learning differences and your work with your daughter is so wonderful! When students get information in a way tailored to how their mind works their advancement is amazing! Way to go mom! You are doing a great job for all your kiddos!

This makes me feel so much better. I beat myself about the house. We have a 6,4 and 1 year old. Laundry doesn’t make it to rooms on a weekly basis. Breath of fresh air! We also bought these bins! They are amazing

I was was watching this video last night as I was falling asleep. I love this storage idea so much I woke up first thing this morning and went to grab some myself as well as the little divider containers. I got one pink and one mint. I already had clip boards that are these exact colors we use for H.S. I also threw in there. Thanks so much for sharing!!

Hey - at least it’s CLEAN laundry! LOL. And a huge thank you for sharing the bins. We are moving and living in temporary housing for a few months so I have been eyeballing my school supplies and trying to figure out how we are going to manage the “stuff” - perfect timing on seeing your video! Oh I’m so glad it was helpful! 🙌🏽 I don’t have any readers for resale since we still use them (or will be using the lower grade ones for our youngest boys not old enough yet). I think there could be a resale page on fb? Not sure. They can be purchased cheaper digitally and then you could print if needed. Praying for your journey!!! 💗🙌🏽

My son is severely dyslexic and has processing issues. I need to stalk (in a loving Christian homeschool Momma way, btw!) your page a little more to find ideas for him. I just found you from your review of the Good and the Beautiful History and Ohmigoodness I just love you. I keep watching all your videos now. I LOVED art in school but it so messy and I haven’t figured out how to do it and not have my kids do permanent damage. Oi. Anyway- I understand you just had a baby, but I’d love an update on what you are doing now and updated thoughts. They could be Brief separate videos too if it was easier on you. So a whole years worth of curriculum fits into one of those storage boxes? What about your teachers manual, craft supplies or manipulatives? Where else do you store school supplies?

This is an older video but we still homeschool minimally. We just only need and use a handful of things. I never used teachers manuals when I used other curriculum. I write my own curriculum now (for a living) and it’s just one small guide for pre-K through 12th! Mostly books and journaling is all we need!

They were units that I put together for them or from books we got from the library. This was about 4-5 years ago and our eldest is now graduating next month! 🥲💗

Would you mind sharing how you do dictation copywork? We use CM, (I have an almost 2nd grader and kindergarten), so I'm not sure we are doing it "right." We use Bible verses and beautiful quotes for copywork, but I'm not sure how to incorporate dictation or spelling. Love your videos, thank you!

Hey Jane, I noticed Lorelei's joy and wisdom notebook was done in Cursive. Do you request that she does it in cursive? Or was it on her own accord? Only curious because I noticed your son started learning to write in print instead of cursive. When do you switch to cursive? Lol so many questions. Also keeping a book of things you want to remember, quotes, etc is called a commonplace book. I LOVE them. This was huge with John Locke and others. It's basically a place to compile others' works and quotes you want to remember. It has my 💕

My personal opinion is the workbook that comes with teaching textbooks is awful. It's so big, were halfway into the year and the workbook is just falling apart. :( total waste of money.
