Hi, I'm Olya!
My husband and I moved from Russia to Thailand 2 months ago. We are slowly settling in and building our life in new place.
In this video I will finally show you our apartment. It's a small 2-room apartment of 30 square meters. It's not much, but it's enough for a family of two. A huge advantage of our apartment is the apartment complex we live in. In Thailand they are called condos. The condo has several living complexes, swimming pool and gym. All this guests can use for free!

Our house is old and the kitchen is very small compared to the newer homes being built in the USA. I like your living space.

I thought it was standard in the USA to build large kitchens. Interesting that not all homes. Thank you for sharing the information!

@@thisisolya_crochet our house is from 1950 and the original owners had two children and the kitchen is just hardly big enough for two people to be in there at the same time. I think it wasn’t until the early 1980’s that people wanted bigger kitchens. So if you had a house built you can design an “ eat in “ kitchen. I prefer modest living. I was born in New York City and apartment/condo living is similar to yours unless you are wealthy and can have a large living space. Yours is very nice.

@@ingrid2543 Wow, that's very interesting. Do you still live in New York City? To be honest, I also like to live in smaller apartments. I find them more cozy and practical. In addition, for now, my husband and I, two of us, no children, so 30 square meters is enough for us. The only thing I would buy an extra shelf in the kitchen, as there is sometimes not enough space to store cookies. But maybe it's for the best 😅

@@thisisolya_crochet I agree your kitchen is lacking space, I had purchased a small cart with wheels for extra space. I moved from NYC ~ 30 yrs ago.
