I like the coin one. But It's at least twice the price I'd be willing to pay. Even $45 would be pushing it for a plastic/rubber wallet. I am always most interested in wallets that carry coins as well as cash. Trove Cash Wrap is still the winner.
Also, I wish you had put more coins into RE:01 just to see what it looks like almost full or at least fuller. I'll be working with a lot of coins this summer and my current wallet is for cash and cards only. But a great review non the less.
This is it. This is what I was waiting for. I just ordered re02 after I watched your review. Thanks. Actually I don't like an exterior pocket. Because sometimes a card in an exterior pocket is gotten out. So, I like that they put only one exterior pocket. I'll put a receipt in it.
@@johnnysilverhand1733 thank you for sharing your experience. In Korea, no one use coins. Even I haven’t seen someone using cash over 10 years. Cashless is over 90% in korea as I know. So i bought re02. The one w/o the coin pouch. It’s over 10 days. And it is not still delivered. Lol.
@@towk5591 yeah still using this. The best contemporary wallet. If you‘re a maximalist, this wallet wouldn’t be enough. If you’re a minimalist, perfect.
Interesting concept, but I'm always a bit skeptical with magnets being used on wallets / cards. Mark would be interesting your view (in general) on this topic. Great review as always.
According to a customer review on the official website the wallets are shipped from USA, not sure if they're made there also, but they're definitely shipped from USA, which is very inconvenient for EU citizens since we'd have to pay extra customs charges for a wallet that's designed and sold by a German company. And yes, right now they're on sale, so the customs charges (according to the said review) would be equal to the full price of the wallet. Just something to consider. Been following this channel for few months now in search of a wallet like RE:01 and last week's Vaultskin Mayfair. Either one looks perfect for me, so I'm kinda bummed at having found this out. But I'll keep an eye out for another great review and/or deal. Thanks for all that you do :) Great channel :)
Coming from a die hard leather wallet owner: Despite the much hate on these reviews, I’m highly intrigued. 1. Price isn’t that bad when you think ab the fact you’re paying for something you use every day. 2. Minimalist for sure. Probably barely feels like anything is in your pocket and very light weight. 3. Coin-holding option is legit. Especially outside of the US when you have so many foreign dollar coins you want to keep track of. Thanks for the review🤙🏼
Exactly, I ordered this wallet exactly for those countries.. I've typically even been leaving coins at the merchant because it's a pain to manage them without a coin pouch
On their website, they claim that the RE:01 would be able to hold 4 to 6 cards. They show a video where they put 4 in the inside slot and one on the outside. Would you say that that it is realistic and practical in everyday use?
@brytbur thanks for the answer, that definitely helps. Would you say the inside slot is a bit wider? So that's where they'd put up to 4, when they're saying "up to 6 overall"?
Interesting idea, but way, way, too expensive! 108 dollars? That's wild! Great video as always, though! :) It would be interesting to see videos on wallets from luxury brands, from Coach and the others, to see if the premium materials actually make it somewhat worthwhile to pay such a price!
J’ai l’image que la matière prends la poussière facilement ? Qu’elle se colle dessus ? Comme un peu du daim ? Merci de me dire si c’est le cas ? Merci 😊
Could you review the Zeus modular wallet? It’s a copy of the pitaka wallet but without demagnetizing your credit cards. Wanted to know your thoughts on it
I like the coin wallet, in general, but that hinge is a deal breaker for me. It's too big, bulky, and ugly. RE:FORM should look at how Distil Union does magnetic compartment openings.
@@callenwest1 glasses are highly engineered technology cause guess what, it's not enough having a glass in front of your eyes to see... And glasses beyond all are necessary. This is just a really good design but it's not worth 90€. Of every example you could have made this is just terrible.
Nice Try after trying a majority of new wallets I don’t even need one of these in my hands to to know it will have a terrible user experience 1. Overpriced 2. Collects lint 3 Coin pouch? really we are 70% cashless society 4. Several wallets that are more functional with better styling materials 5. Poor styling/looks like a cheap tacticool wallet
Maybe this wallet is not popular but if the company puts magnet on the back and made it Magsafe compatible then Apple nerds will go crazy and instantly want one😂😂😂
