Dr. Raisis, I had a HTO done to my right leg some 20 yrs ago, and know I am experiencing pain and lack of strength in the leg. I had a fall 5 months ago and was diagnosed as a contusion. The hardware was not affected. During that time it was a struggle to walk pain free and after several xrays & a MRI it was determined that there is a tear in that knee. I received a Cort. shot last week and the pain has subsided significantly. Question I have is with the plate and screws what can be done. re tk
