I was unable to get into rehab for almost a month after my TKR, and therapy was only mildly successful in getting my quad strength back. I'm glad that I found your videos - will be incorporating them into my home therapy. Thank you!

Is it bad if you can't lock the knee to even raise the leg? I dislocated my knee back in December, have not had physical therapy start from workman's comp until last week and then I had a surgeon recommend I get surgery done on it since I can't even raise it.

I'm sorry to hear this @TheGenerationalWealthGuy. I know what you mean with worker's comp. It is not good that you 🙏can't lock the knee when raising the leg. That means the quads is very weak. Without knowing more, I cannot comment on the surgery part. For purely quads weakness, surgery may not be required. But it depends on other factors involved in your injury. Even if you will undergo surgery, it will still be beneficial to strengthen your quads. Wish you the best.
