Looks like a decent trolling motor. Would have liked to see it on whatever boat you're going to use it with. Also, lead-acid batteries are no longer the best value for powering ANY trolling motor, 12v, 24v, 36v...lithium iron-phosphate is a far better value. They give you half the weight, twice the actual run time, and they will last 10 years or more. Only those who don't do the math, or are too broke to really be spending money on any of this stuff, buy lead-acid batteries for their trolling motor, these days.
There’s a video about this trolling motor on my boat, check it out on my channel. As for the battery choice most people trying to build a budget jon boat don’t have the money for a battery ranging from 350$ to upwards of 1500+ dollars to pair with a 100$ trolling motor.
@@NC_outdoorsman - You can get a 50AH LFP battery for around $200. It will give you the same USABLE capacity as the lead-acid battery you showed, but without the voltage sag, and it will last for 10 years. Folks buying lead-acid batteries are penny wise and pound foolish...that's how they stay broke, by making short-sighted financial decisions.
