In this video, I show how to upgrade the electronics control board and head unit for a Minn Kota 24V 80lb Thrust RipTide Pro Trolling Motor using a kit purchased from Lakeside Marine and Service (see link below). Your installation may vary depending on your trolling motor.
Corrections (video approximate time):
4:30 "Climp" = Clip + Crimp (lol).
4:50 Sheet metal screws install in front & machine screws in rear of board.

Dought you still read these posts, I rebuilt my riptide cept for electronics board. Don’t make it any more, hv 24v riptide RT-74. I plugged into 24v and motor came on, variable speed but just don’t know how fast the prop suppose to spin I figured it would be spinning slot faster maybe not variable speed does work reverse works is there any way to check amps on wires or check anything to make sure it’s going as fast as it shoujd turn the prop that is

The only way to check the amp draw would be using a meter at the motor connections. I don't know how you could check the prop speed.

..why not just use a PWM?

You could but you need to hand steer this motor.

I have an older minnkota riptide. I have 6 wires that go to my board. Will the updated board work with mine you think? I can send you a picture of mine if you’re on instagram or Facebook

If your wiring isn't the same as in my video then I don't know.
