I have the same trolling motor and have 2 a year old batteries on it, max speed is 1.9 mph for my 18 ft bass boat, saw people writing how theirs goes 3-4 mph, I can’t seem to figure out why I have a problem, and it’s a major problem because I mainly fish a electric motor only lake.
How warm is it there cause you have a short sleeve shirt on? It is in the 30s here. Beautiful day for a ride on the boat. I had a friend that had a trolling motor and it they are nice, but his didn't have a remote. There's old Lightning. Oh yea that would be a bad day if you don't check it and something went wrong.
