I’m convinced Howls and Growls is a good luck charm for the Wolves. Started watching near the start of the year and have been loving the breakdowns ever since.
It has been such a treat to follow this channel throughout the season. Expert analysis beyond anything I've seen before. Thanks for your insights and great videos.
For people that have watched the wolves all year it’s pretty noticeable that these three games haven’t really been that well played. Bad turnovers and dumb fouls. They still have room to get better as the playoffs go on. Going under the radar is how solid Rudy has been at the line. Those extra 6-7 pts are gonna be huge in closer games. Killer Mike is the MVP so far. His presence is priceless.
Gobert is currently 19/22 at the line this post season which is really good for him. I watched him in Utah for years and remember when teams used to purposely hack him, they aint doing that now.
Just amazing amazing defense...the whole roster has bought in. Hopefully this changes the narrative on Gobert. No offense on utah, but this wolves version is just fun to watch defensively. "Living organism" (frm one of your vids) defensely, seems everyone knows what to do instinctively. Minnie in 7 vs Denver... Then Dallas 4 to 2... Can't help thinking ahead with how the wolves are playing
6:30 Rudy literally pump faked a contest, causing okogie to show and go. This team just does close outs and rotations differently from anyone else in the league
The 2024 Suns in the regular season: 117.6 ORTG, 49.3% from the field, 38.2% from three The 2024 Suns against the Timberwolves, regular season (3 games): 126.0 ORTG, 53.0% from the field, 48.8%(!) from three, 3-0 record The regular season matchup was always gonna be an outlier. No team can shoot 48% from three across a 7-game series (unless you're 2023 Miami). The Timberwolves defense was going to show up. And for good measure: The 2024 Suns against the Timberwolves, playoffs (3 games): 105.9 ORTG, 45.0% from the field, 35.9% from three, 0-3 record
