V1 instantly reacting to Minos saying "DEATH" was awesome, and the punch was satisfying af.

i like how V1 only reacts aggressively when minos says that the punishement is death, like either he was fine being punished with community work or i guess helping minos, or he just didn't care/heard anything but "death" is one of the main words he is programmed to care about

considering the fact that V1 turned down graphic resolution in its vision to further enhance performance (i read that somewhere, i think it's a canon explaination to the low poly graphics) this is closer to what the fight actually looks like "irl"

I like how V1's eye/camera at 1:17 shrinks when he figures out what Minos is gonna do. It really adds emotion. It makes him more surprised and panicked.

JESUS CHRIST HOW ARE YOU SO TALENTED??? It looks like a DMC5 cutscene! Congrats my man!

just a few reminders about minos: - when he says *WEAK.* he's saying it to himself, not V1 - his crown resembles buildings because he always cared about his people more than himself, putting them above himself - he has no face because he does not consider himself important (or selflessness?) - his transparency and visible heart may represent his honesty and kindness - when he moves around the arena to attack V1, along with the explosions and shockwaves he makes with his attacks, those are not fancy abilities like teleportation, *that is a display of his raw strength and movement speed*

Gotta love how Minos is so polite. He even gives you a heads up about how you should prepare yourself for the battle.

1:17 the reuse of sound effects here is brilliant. It puts into terms the kind of fight your getting into as up to this point this is YOUR happy sound, the sound you Pavlov’d yourself into enjoying for styling on your opponents and pulling off something badass. When the boss parries YOU, that’s when you know you’re in for a real fight.

0:10 That scream sounds so excellent yet so familiar. What is it from, or am I stupid, and it's from Ultrakill?

First of all the amount of detail is insane here, I love how some of the blue pain on V1 has began to peel off you can especially see it on its head after he was punched back by Minos, or how the blue lighting from the Railcannon faded after Minos crushed it, the animation is also just very very smooth all around with V1’s fluid movement in taking down the Flesh Prison and how powerful Minos’s hit felt, all around 10/10 animation loved every bit of it.

Finally, an animation that depicts how the fight actually tends to go, instead of "and then V1 did a ricoshot once and minos exploded".

I LOVE how much he glows. Truly makes him seem more powerful and ironically holy

I actually drew Minos Prime in the style of 1:30, the name being over his head but it was for an art class that I have.

On a side note, it's only after I watched this animation did I realize that V1 uses a single arm to aim and fire a handheld *railcannon* . It makes a lot more sense when you factor in the fact that it's a robot, but the point still stands. You gotta realize how heavy those are, not to mention how V1 has pinpoint accuracy with it and can withstand the damn thing's recoil.

Absolutely love how V1 politely stands there as Minos gives his speech, but at the first sign of hostility "They punishment... is DEATH!" V1 _instantly_ raises its gun to fire. Of course, only to get hit by an instant punch from Minos. What a badass.

This was amazing, but it also was sad because I wish Minos in-game had this fluid and animated of an intro. Nowadays seeing Minos vs Sisyphus in their intros you can really see the age in Minos' animation, compared to what his dialogue sounds like he moves SUPER slow and barely moves at all.

I like how Minos' 'face' looks less hollow and hole-y, and more like a shadowed, missing fabric in reality.

If you’re interested in doing more Ultrakill animations, I think you could make the intro to the first or second V2 fight look really badass (V2 has very dramatic intros)

Important PSA: minos prime is voiced by Stephan Wake, one of the most badass voices of the original build engie trio. The voicelines of Caleb from Blood are psychotic, grizzled, hardcore, and fucking metal. And all these years later, Stephen Wake still goes impossibly hard in his work.

God Ultrakill scenes are ripe for animating. Amazing job!

это просто охрененно, столько проделанной работы и затраченных сил и времени. единственное что минос выглядит слишком мультяшным, также как и его движения, голос не соответствует образу, в каст-сцене он более серьезен и источает харизму в просто неимоверных количествах, а тут это больше на какое-нибудь Jo-Jo больше похоже, да внешность вообще сильно отошла от оригинала. а вот V1 и тюрьма плоти просто бомбические!
