It seems as though Ben has a small shrine dedicated to sprigs of mint found in the depths of his herb garden which he tends to day and night in his red shorts accompanied by an abundance of quiches - I have never seen someone so obsessed over sprigs of mint (though, and I think I speak for the fandom here, he should continue to place them on desserts :D ).
just wondering, what do you guys typically eat everyday? maybe you guys can do a simple dish that you guys eat really often? itd be kinda cool to see something thats not just an "on trend" recipe or something viewers recommended :)
Around last year's Christmas I've gathered up with some friends and done a Zuccoto recipe. Ours had Panettone (Christmas bread) instead of the chocolate sponge and vanilla ice cream for the filling. It was delicious and super refreshing! I can't wait to try your recipe, it looks great!
I went to England last summer and I have tasted this incredible delicious butterscotch fudge and since then I didn't forget it's taste and am dying to know its recipe if you could bring it to us I would be really grateful and thaaaaank you for everything about sorted I can't live without you guys
We've come to expect the sprig of mint...We've come to love the sprig of mint. I missed the mint when it was gone. It's just not a finished recipe if Ben doesn't add the sprig of mint! (plus, we know it bothers him if he can't add it) :)
I just made this yesterday... But I dissolved some sugar in water, added quite a bit of mint liquor and poured it over the cake before filling it with the chocolate filling... Soooooooo good...
My dad makes a Christmas Zuccotto for Christmas every year. He just does plain madeira sponge soaked in a tonne of alcohol with chocolate cream and then a separate layer of cream with Christmas pudding. It's the best dessert.

Looks amazing! Any recipe suggestions for mint syrup?? Mint extract is not sold in my country, but I have a huge bottle of mint syrup and have no idea how to use it apart from adding it to coffee :/ thanks!

I have a question about the zuccotto. Am I able to put it away in the fridge for a couple of days to or are you supposed to bake it the day it's served?
Can you guys do more white chocolate recipes? I very much prefer the white chocolate over the milk or dark. Ooo! White chocolate and fruit somethings!! :)

liquor in the sponge would have made it amazing you should check out Gennaro Contaldo's italian version with a bit more variety. It also tastes delicious.
i made this but realized half way through i didn't have enough cream for the second layer so instead of another cream layer i put a scoop full of fresh berries. I was really good and not quite as rich. :D

A new recipe every Tuesday & Friday. A newly released old video on a Thursday (ones we recorded 2 years ago but never released on RU-vid) and a FridageCam on Sunday... often with a recipe in that too! Keeps us busy... but we love it!
It is quite difficult to fold warm liquid chocolate into whipped cream because the cream tends to melt then. Much easier to melt the chocolate and the cream together and let the mixture cool well in the fridge. Then whip it: You get a much firmer and fluffier filling (Tipp from my mother in law ) ;-)

Jamie if you think it's cold you be here right now it's winter and about -5 outside with frost and were close to the mountains if it is cold enough and rains we get snow
I'm really not a fan of mint and chocolate, can you suggest a different middle part? can it be more chocolate? like a nutella cream or would that be too much?
