Mint Mobile Goes Global: Spotty International Plans! 

I traveled to Central America and added uproam credit to carry me over until I purchased a local sim . My service was spotty ... sometimes I had a connection other times no. As an emergency backup or limited use it's ok.

how do you enable international roaming (turn on, turn off)?

After watching this video I added $10 Uproam credit (plus svc fee of +$3). I made 4 one minute calls while in Europe and my Uproam credit balance was down to $6. Is Mint Mobile subtracting from my Uproam credit mobile data and roaming plus the charges for the one minute calls because I have to turn both on to make those calls?. If so, Uproam is not that useful as I will go through the $10 in no time. Am I understanding how Uproam works? I plan to only use Uproam emergency calls while traveling overseas.

Great video! I had a question. I'm traveling to Uzbekistan and was wondering how does UpRoam work? Will my phone automatically work in Uzbekistan when I add UpRoam? Or do I have to perform some steps on my phone or contact mint mobile to have it set up?

I purchased $5 for emergency but could not get it to work while at London airport. Which specific settings must be turned on? Are the settings in the Mint Mobile App or on the phone (Samsung)? My next trip is to Chile and I want to be able to call the hotel when I arrive at Santiago airport.

Great video. When you turned your data on and off, I wasn't sure how (where) you did that. I went to my phone settings, clicked on "cellular" and then my screen doesn't look the same as yours (I'm on an old IPhone 7) Mine shows a toggle for Cellular Data though. is that what I should turn off when not in use?

I need to replace Google Fi due to it's 3 month only abroad for international roaming ( FI SMS works great however in Brazil ) and I need an actual USA cell phone plane. Also I have a Brazilian sim so I would only need MM international roaming for bank verifications and travel outside of The 🇺🇸 and 🇧🇷. I've watch a few people complaining about how bad US Mobile's international roaming is so that's out. Maybe you get what you pay for anyway Thanks for this information.
