Honestly, I believed she wasn't joining vshojo more until I heard that, lmao. If they're even helping with merch, I wouldn't be surprised to see her show up in other vshojo things as "just a collab", until the timer on non-compete clauses in the contract run out, at which point she "suddenly decides" to join.

You Realize Vshojo is making money off the merch. A Chad yes, buut business-wise, something has to be in it so they don't do a bunch of work for nothing.

@@EndoftheBeginning17 Tbh, at this point, simply helping her with out anything in return is a good business move. Why? A kick at Niji atm can get you a lot of support, absorb their watch time when people boycott them by simply treating their ex livers better. The faster Niji fall from grace, the faster the top spot open for everyone.

It's probably more that she hasn't decided if she wants to keep doing it after the whole podcast. I figure she might join Vshojo if she wants to Vtube on a more long-term basis.

It's a psychological thing. Niji messed her up big time to the point where she doesn't think that highly of herself (she seemed to have thought that of herself for a while, but Niji just made it worse), and now she needs time to truly realize why she enjoys vtubing in the first place. She'd do just fine, but she doesn't seem to be ready to accept that fact yet. Just wait until the end of Summer, and by then I think she'll have made up her mind

@@Gloomby1 There's not only that but I bet you that both the twins and Kiara pitched her to audition for HoloEN Gen 4. Thing is there is practically no guarantee that she'll get accepted. She wants to be an idol, but in reality while the Holomems call themselves that for marketing purposes, they don't act like, they don't even vaguely act seiso. Yagoo goes based on market forces and what is trending so her skills may not even be what they want. On the other hand, Vshojo would accept her now, immediately. But while she would be good for Vshojo, there is very little outside of management and legal that they could offer her. She's not sure which way to go and I think she's going to wait it out, this is where the various things of the two agencies cancel each other out and she really doesn't need either one of them anyway. She's probably better off being Indie and putting her own loose group of singers and performers together for cons, much like Bao, Numi and the others are doing.

Being an indie isn't easy. Dokibird has to do a lot of work behind the scenes even with a manager.

Maybe she have more real life projects and is just vtubing part time. Or ( hope no) maybe she just is still unsure if join any agency after having bad experiences before. But she is at least streaming, and collabing with friends

It doesn't; vtuber clips are loaded with clickbait. That being said, we can reasonably make guesses as to why; 1) Past experiences; if you've been paying attention to what she's said as deerskin Company N left a very clear mark on her, and not in a good way. I doubt it's as bad as Sayu's PTSD, but there definitely seems to be some trauma there. Joining another corporation while she's still very much doubting herself as a vtuber is likely something she's not thinking about. 2) Poor fit; nothing against Vshojo and the girls (including Kuro), but they aren't exactly the content creators that Mint is. Mint is very *very* much into idol stuff - singing, dancing, live performances, etc etc. Vshojo is primarily just gamers; that's not to say they *can't* do those things, but that's not their focus. 3) Both of those things together; I mean, honestly, it's probably a mix of the two.

@@koimeiji good reasons, yeah. Could also be the clause in the niji contract whichs forbids their talents to join another company for 6 months. Aside from that... Although Mint might not believe it herself, but I think she would be able to join any company she wanted. She has friends in vshojo and in hololive and can do anything that is required by both of them. She could also just stay indie and do whatever she wants, because she already has a big audience. So many possibilitys open for her now!

@@LontEnCaras The Niji clause doesn't seem to be a thing for companies outside of Japan. The others from Niji has joined Vshojo before the 6 months. So my guess in that case would be that she is waiting out the 6 month clause to join a Japanese company, her interests in mind most likely Hololive.

Man i hate whenever there is nijisanji or vtuber related stuff, there will be some dumb accounts gonna connect it to Hololive. NO. Not just you make yourself dumb. But also, it's different stuff. Imagine if someone from trash taste went out and then dumb chat think like.. "man.. if he join BTS..". It's so dumb. Trash taste is just podcast/stream group. BTS is idol group. Different. Luna debuted over 4 years ago and the Hololive/Nijisanji situation is vastly different than what it was back then - NijiEN didn't even exist until over a year after she defected. Also, while I'm not as familiar with NijiJP, I'm guessing that Moruru wasn't exactly the #1 most popular member Niji had at the time. Pomu was the foundational talent of NijiEN, she was their Gura. For her to jump ship due to feeling neglected and unsupported, the company implodes into vicious controversy mere weeks later, and then she suddenly shows up as a Hololive recruit? It doesn't get much more embarrassing than that.

This. One hundred times this. I'm a longtime follower of Vshojo, since before they ever thought of being a company, and all the "X is joining Vshojo" just irritates the hell outta me. Why would I, as a fan, want to see people feel pressured into joining a company that's only a good fit for very few people?

i think everyone wants mint to pursue to hololive, but i know like Luna is previously a niji member so it's a possibility. But cause the current drama and avoidance between holo and niji it would be a massive incoming slander or news to holo en for about a month minimum. So if it's true, holo should be really ready and prepare if mint is actually wanna join. But mint herself really doesn't need that if she took a 'doki' route cause she is already a successful vtuber for just being indie. No need to hassle cause she has a 'trauma' of the permisson rejection on the kurosanji experience. sorry for the rambling..

@@DeehStars you cant just take the "doki" route. That route is already gone. She can become indie for sure, however being indie require alot of responsibility. What about your tech? 3D? sponsor? manager? Even she herself understand the daunting effort need to be successful indie. What Doki got will never happen again. There is no way Mint is going to get 400k in 2 days. Why would her joining holo be any problem? She has no real drama associated with her. She is pretty loved by the EN side. Taking her in would solidify that hololive are the "good" guys saving an abused victim from nijisanji.

Even if its as the good guys they would still be getting involved and I don't think they would want that. Why step into mess when you are already winning by doing nothing and can just stand aside and watch your competition destroy itself.
