Mirian is a refugee from DRC living in Uganda and she is one of the beneficiaries of GROW Project. She was trained in hand croacheting for three weeks at YMCA Buwambo campus Miriam trained along side other 185 refugee women who trained in different trades of their choice.
Generating Growth Opportunities and Productivity for Women Entreprenuers (GROW) is a government of Uganda five year project , implemented by Mininstry of Gender Labour and Social Development and Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU).
GROW is funded by the World Bank and is aimed at increasing access to entreprenueurial services that enable women entreprenuers to grow their enterprises in taorgeted locations inluding host and refugee communities.
