Audience taste is not changed. But directors are indirectly forcing us to watch such movies. But what is more dangerous is kids are getting used to this violence and they have developed a taste for guns and other weapons. There is not a single tamil movie that we could be watched with children nowadays. That's why now people are more attracted towards malayalam movies. We still have so many young talented directors who could make feel good, comedy or fantasy movies. But cinema industry is being corrupted to the core. They will not let good movies released in theaters. Only big actors crap is going to be served in theaters.

Wow the two movies and the comment section is the perfect way to explain the spectrum of men in our society. One side we have men who think “what’s the point of my S/O if I can’t hit her, slap her, etc etc” and on the other side men who tear up thinking about something happening to the women in their life. As a male ♂️, i cried alot while watching chithaa in theatre because i too experienced the harrasment from my childhood till my 15 years of age. 😢 Lorry driver, cable operator and a shop boy harrased me 😭. Now, im 30 years old and Till now my parents doesn't know about it. Because im afraid to open up this with my parents. I request those whoever read this comment, don't let your child(ren) afraid to open up harrasment. Thanks😢
