Our favourite Dickens character? Oh it HAS to be Magic Mike!
Are these quotes from a Dickens novel or a Disney film? That's the challenge we set our Mischief Makers.
Charlie Russell, Chris Leask, Dave Hearn, Greg Tannahill, Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer put their knowledge to the test - to celebrate the release of A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong!

The Mischief team are one of the UK's leading improvised theatre companies. The group is formed of students and graduates from The London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA). I suppose if you've never actually seen it, it's not super ridiculous. But there are characters named Oliver, Dodger, Fagin, and Sykes, so it's a bit embarrassing not to make the connection if you've seen the movie.

I didnt realize that either, but then again ive not seen oliver and company since i was a child. Its one of disneys least memorable films from a very memorable era

But will The Play That Goes Wrong ever get a streaming/DVD release? I count myself extremely fortunate to have seen the original cast on Broadway twice. Easily the funniest show I've seen, and I want to enjoy it again!

Thanks David! There are no plans to currently release them online or on DVD - but we can't wait for that show to return to theatres when they reopen!

There was an animated Christmas Carol done by Disney with Scrooge McDuck as Scrooge and Mickey as Bob Cratchitt....I was VERY sure they tricked them and the line was from the Disney version.

Imagine if Walt Disney and Charles Dickens switched places. We'd have Dickensland, Dickensworld, Dickens+, Lego Dickens, Dickens Character meet and greets. Bill Sykes would be the new Gaston. We'd have rides like Oliver Twists Scary Adventures, Its A Poor World After All, etc. And would be no castle. Only a giant poorhouse/orphanage/workhouse.

looks like it. Dave moved in with Chris. No wonder Charlie and Dave no longer talk about their characters' romantic relationship. But you know what, if they're happy with their new situation, then we shld be happy for them. They do look like they're still friends since they are still co-workers. no bad blood. some people do say any relationship is successful no matter how long it went or even it ended as long as both parties are happy.
