This is brill. I was born in Hellhole Hempstead and this superb film perfectly sums up what was often miserable about the "Dacorum" town centre. There's no crock of gold to be found at the end of this rainbow. Just some ugly street furniture and Burger King". Classic. This ought to be broadcast on national TV. What ever happened to that Wimpy high up on the ramp?!
I used to travel to Hemel Hempstead from Wales from 1987 to 1989, so this brought back one or two memories. I used to come here to stay with a family who lived in Pescot Hill in Gadebridge, tow of the girls in that family used to go to Hemel Salvation army when major B Watts was the captain there, good days.
