Ingredients
3 cups of lentils (Boil the lentils in 1.5 L of water first (drain that off and add about 2L of boiling water & cook)
6 large onions (chopped)
4-5 tbsp of berbere
4-6 tbsp of oil
1/2 tbsp of turmeric (will give the stew beautiful golden colour)
2 large ripped tomatoes (peeled & chopped)
2 tbsp of minced garlic
2 -4 tbsp of Ethiopian spiced (optional)
About 500 ml of water (or till you reach desired consistency)
2 tsp of ground cloves (preferably freshly ground)
Salt to your test
