How to make Miso Chocolate Chip Cookies
Kitchen Aid Mixer: amzn.to/3ntCgmS
Ingredients:
1 cup + 6Tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup brown sugar
6 Tbsp granulated sugar
2 Tbsp white miso paste
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 375F.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside
3. On medium high speed, beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and miso paste together until light and fluffy ~ 3 minutes.
4. Add egg and vanilla extract, mix well.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix by hand until just mixed. Stir in the chocolate chips and chill in the fridge for an hour.
6. Using tablespoon, scoop out heaping spoonfuls and place on pan 2 inches apart.
7. Bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and edges are crisp. Transfer cookies to a wire rack.
8. Enjoy!
