This looks good but it isn't even close to a an authentic pan roast. This recipe has evolved into a more southern gulf type seafood stew. Check out Sparks Nevada's Nugget Casino and Resort's oyster bar San Francisco style pan roast. Look at the ingredients that will tell you everything. They've been making them since 1959. My dad had a drugstore directly across the street so we ate there often.
