Nurse Bendy's trauma is already clear enough without fans spreading misinformation. She is a sexual object for men of the town who, in her very own words, believes that nobody cares about her feelings or who she is on the inside, just her body. Certainly, there is room for people to headcanon or speculate about child abuse, but that is *not* the only reason she could act the way she does at home. She is enacting the kind of life she wishes she had, a normal one with a husband who cares about who she is as a human being, not just a sex object. People age regress for multiple reasons and child abuse does not factor at all into many of those reasons. Plus I genuinely think it is just weird that a great chunk of this fandom is so insistent that child sexual abuse is present in her storyline despite zero canonical proof whatsoever, because... why? Why go there? The show was never hesitant about touching on dark subject matter. If that were true, the series would have shown it to the audience directly. Nurse Bendy's story is dark enough without speculation of child abuse.

To give you context, this is every scene with her, and she's the sister of a background character. The fact that they were able to fit that much character into one episode (where a majority of these clips come from) is amazing. If you have HBO Max it's on there, it's on one or two other streaming services but if all else it's on RU-vid in its entirety.

We'd still follow Orel, of course, but season 4 was gonna be called Moralton and mainly follow the lives of various people in town and their stories. People always ask why most of season 3 focused on background characters, and it's because the season got cancelled halfway into production and there wasn't enough time to write a whole new arc to replace the one they didn't have time to finish for the series: Orel's relationship with Arthur - his grandpa - as he moves into the Puppington household for his final days, and the season ending with Arthur dying, nobody being able to explain in a meaningful way why his death happened, and eventually Orel becoming a cynic who listens to the white metal group Infinite Godgasm to try and avoid his depressive state. Shapey and Block had an entire episode dedicated to their growth as people cut and it was made into a reoccurring background story line in other scenes as a working element (which worked quite well all things considered). It's not Dino's fault for following a direction he wanted the series to go, but rather Adult Swim stopping it short and making it seem awkward by comparison.

Tbh I think season 2 was the best in terms of comedy. The writing was sharp, the pacing was fast, and the comedic timing was mostly on point. I more accept that she's another Dr. Girlfriend and she strained her larynx from either premature drinking or smoking. Dealing with a dad like hers lends you lots of stress.
