I really like that Florence stands up for herself. Not only when Dottie comments on her weight but also about her likes and her daughter. She was one of the few good people of Moralton and I wish we could see more of her in the scrapped episode "Narcissist"
She's not exactly innocent she kind of raped revs okay let me explain THE MAN SAID NO AND KEPT ON SAYING IT WHEN HE SAID NO MILLIONS OF TIMES LIKE GIRL FUCK OFF HE DON'T LIKE YOU i can sympathised with her at the beginning then i got annoyed like he clearly doesn't wanna fuck you so stop trying and what pisses me off more is that I relate to her because I'm a shy person that likes collecting things but what she did was not okay she's also an awful human being like everyone else in moralton so idk if she deserved better I think it was right for rev to reject her she deserved that but she did deserve to have an better friend also when watching I was mad at rev for being such an asshole to her at first then later on got mad at her for Not taking the fucking hint -_-
Tha sad part is, if Moral Orel actually continued they way it was supposed to go, Putty would have eventually realized he loved Florence for who she is and he would try to make up for his mistakes. He was going to have a way better redemption arc.
I actually read the unaired script for the episode narcissist, and it brought me to tears when I finished it. Not because of the ending but because of the fact that it was never aired to the public. I really wanted to see Florence and Putty have there happy ending
Yea she’s a strong woman but that doesn’t take away from the fact she’s an icky person. She doesn’t even like reverend putty, she’s selfish, even if it’s just a front or to compensate for whatever she’s got going on. She’s a bad mom too. Not someone worth simping over fr.

I love Florence way more than Dottie, Florence can assert herself kindly , not judge others and she’s so cute as well . I don’t like Dottie bc she reminds me deeply of my grandmas, past friends, or extended families tendency to be manipulative . It’s gross and I wish she didn’t get rewarded for her shitty behavior

Dottie is generally a horrible person. She may be an interesting character, but the way she treats Florence is terrible and shouldn't be excused. Now, I am not saying that you're a horrible person; because from what i've seen, you've stated you like her because of her interesting character, voice, etc. And not as a person, and I can respect that. Justice for Florence

I caught the split second of how she cried though when Florence established how they weren't friends, it showed just for a moment that Dottie actually cared somewhat for Florence.
they do look very similar, but bendy isn't a natural blonde i dont think we ever see dottie's husband, but who knows, maybe he has black hair or dottie also dyes her hair blonde
i love dottie as a character so much but every time she talks to florence i get so damn sad because florence is such a lovely person and deserves better but everyone is so fucking MEAN to her :(
I think it’s more of a ‘misery loves company’ dynamic (Edit: yes, Dottie cares in her own toxic way, but Florence still deserves way better. Stop romanticizing toxic friendships. If you were Florence you would have stopped being Dottie’s friend too.)
i've always seen it as like, dottie doesn't KNOW how to show genuine kindness but she still cares, it comes out in a strange and off-putting way but she does, to some degree, care
I think the reason why I like her is because of her enthusiasm, her dramatic attitude, and her voice. DEFINITELY don't like her as a person, of course, but I think if she WAS a good person, she'd be very loveable.

That was so sweet! That scene made me really fall for her. They both exhibit eating disorders as well (Dottie and Florence both) so I hope they both are able to be happier and take their pain out on themselves less, too.
Nah she's a bitch but Clay is on a whole other level. He shot his son and didn't even think about feeling bad for him or accepting responsibility. Dottie felt bad for what she did to Florence.
