However, this is still a shorter time to wait for the recruitment to be finished as you're guaranteed to have a chance of a 5 star to 3 star. The only real reason to use 9 hours is when there is a tag (like Gravel kissing you like twice a day) that guarantees a four star or higher
@@xtranathor8143 Well they can do whatever they want since its their game (HG). We had one banner this year where one of 5* that was Beeswax in CN got swapped for Proviso in global due to Beeswax being from Kernel pool. Joint ops also count as standard banner so kinda doubt they would allow Kernel operator there.
@@bartekrudy1161 Even before that banner, it also had other changes. Like on Dorothy and Eben banners that had Ptilo and BP in there, it got changed to Rockrock and other 5 star I forgot now.
Regarding the W/Logos powercreep. I think that embracing the powercreep for the 5th Anni is okay because it would have been weird if the units were bad. But I do hope that doesn't start a trend of a busted unit every update
Well Logos powercrept Ejya is a must as Ejya has one of strongest talent and skills in entire game as core caster till 5th anniversary. (and heck, she still somewhat hold the crown even after Logos as deploy both of them are basically net gain). Meanwhile Wisadel is the only I think have a bit of bad taste as she not only powercrept the only operator in her class (Rosmontis) but also make the weakness of her class basically gone (I am not talking she powercrept other operator as it is another issue).
@@KhroniclasIt already did since Chalter. Powercreep is not that bad. The bad part are the new lower rarities are not that good or are worse when the six stars are pushing the meta. Which in turn makes the stages either too easy or too hard which is not fun at all.
TLDR at the bottom since I kinda ended up writing way too much. There are countless operators released after Chalter that are nowhere near being busted. We had some good frequency of busted operators here and there, but not like Degen and afterwards where every banner feels like a smash hit with meta defining operators in one way or another. Mizuku already breaks the trend that you claim is started by Chalter on her own banner. Then there are operators like Fartooth, Fiammetta, Ebenholz, Flametail, Lee, Irene, Stainless, Oldhag, etc. Most of these operators are good of course, but not better than many of the operators that came before them. They are all balanced operators that don't define the meta. Even with some insane stuff releasing from Pozyomka towards Ines there was still some okay/balanced in there. Heck after that we had a relatively dry period from Ines until Degen with only 2~3 busted operators releasing inbetween the aforementioned titans. The craziest part is that it is speculated that Ulpianus releases next and I got a gut feeling that he will be busted af too, so who knows when the streak will end. So yeah I repeat myself, starting at Degen there have been only busted banners. The most controversial ones there are Ray and Ascalon, however: Ray is basically considered better than Typhon by everyone now for actual boss killing and IS. Ray can hurt enemies that could shrug off a hit from Mlynar/Typhon easily while keeping elites/bosses inside of her killing range with permabind. Fast skill cycles also compensate for lower total damage output, for reference she does like half of Typhon's total damage output during skill, but can use her skill twice and have damage offskill in the whole time that Typhon is struggling to finish using all her S3 ammo. Ascalon provides so much slowing that this alone is already worthy enough of a reason to bring her, then her damage output is also underrated. In h7-4 she kills basically every enemy with no problem, except Patriot. Here and there some bad timing can cause trash to leak, but she can and will kill 90%+ of enemies in that stage if you let her. This is how she can duo with Omertosa and it still feels braindead af despite losing out on 10 squad members. At least for Yalter/Omertosa duo on random stage you still need braincells and sometimes very tight timings. Many people underestimate how valuable Ascalon's damage can be since she does not rely on huge DPH like Mlynar or even Mizuki which can pierce most tanky enemies. Ascalon shreds trash and essentially slowly kills tanky enemies by death of a thousand cuts. Zuo Le's value is actually lower than both of those operators, but his value is more apparent to most people so he is frequently recognised as being batshit crazy. Especially since he is the only operator that can solo Birdphisto's inferno stage. Zuo Le is what happens if Hellagur gets a baby with Degenbrecher and one of those sp battery machines you can get in Kazimiers stages. Yet he is arguably the least powerful banner operator that is coming to EN from the currently known CN releases. TLDR: There have been many solid operators since Chalter that have not pushed the bar further, or even fall below older operators. Since Degenbrecher onwards we have had nothing but operators that are busted af where even the weakest operator can do something insane like soloing a difficult boss stage. This is the greatest streak of broken/overtuned operators back to back that Arknights has ever seen.
if you have twitter and you read hg maintenance post prior to IS rerun going live you'd know that they mention that the continuous replay function would be disabled.
I like this news format you're doing, you're pretty much addressing the current Arknights drama, in this case the devs being lazy to implement the auto skip feature which saved a lot of time. What sucks with the yellow certs is that Lessing will most likely have the same problem due to the way your get him. However, HG might change that because CN like us, REALLY, and I mean REALLY did not like the idea of not getting yellow certificates lol. Also I did all of the stages including ex and s because of the missions, they still require you to redo them to get the bonus event currency, and I was able to clear the shop in one day thanks to this

no repeat in il siracusano is such a non issue, you get so much currency from clearing all nodes you clear the shop 2:20 why would you ignore the mission, you literally do not need to farm the event, doing all stages once = all shop cleared bar 80 currency, and with the clears you're 24/25 into the "clear 25 stages" mission. You just need to clear all stages NM once, EX-8 CM for the intelligence, and then ANY stage once, and you're done with the event
Some people like me need to farm alloy. This event stage is better than story stage for alloy. For us the missions are not worth it just for the currency since it is not sanity efficient to get only LMD from these missions (assuming already cleared them last time).
Knowing that I'm farming the last three stage (mainly IS-8 for the rocks) up until the rerun ends, I will undoubtedly make more than enough currency even if I never pick up any rewards from the mission.
Any stage bar is-10 is inefficient, if you wanna farm rock do 1-7 or 10-6 adverse bruh And alloy? Lmao are you new, we had an alloy farming event not long ago, I still have 300+ lol
@@charginginprogresss IS-8 has guaranteed drop of Orirock Clusters. Sometimes you even get 2 drops per run. So that is like 21 sanity per rock cluster, or if lucky, 11.5 sanity per rock cluster. Nothing comes even close to that.
My guess is that the auto-repeat was implemented in a way where it was applied in a batch (to all stages) and the weird UI from the sidestories fucked that up somehow.
Apart from the framework, it's also about UI for it. IS is a specific themed event, so you need UI customization to add it. HG delivers content to Yostar on a schedule and they deploy it. So because IS ran before ZW event in CN, HG delivered it on a timely manner as well. Yostar scheduling is at fault for it being delayed. Idk whether they couldn't or didn't bother to invest resources in changing UI, but they just didn't. And here we are.
I understand about the schedule thing. It's stupid, but I understand. About the UI, why they didn't design UI that fits sidestories as well in the first place then 🤔 HG at its finest I guess.
No joke, but I gave up on farming for the rest of the event and went back to normal stages because they didn't include the new deploy feature. I despise checking back every few minutes xD
The issue is that you do not get pot tokens like before though. For those who are playing 2nd time, the likes are already applied, so there is no reward. It’s a shame because you get a lot of certs through those pot tokens on repeating events.
It's because it's your first time, vet players who play the rerun event for the second time would get extra potentials which they can convert to gold certs.
I'd say the HH Permits, since you still have the chance to get Ifrit from Recruitment, despite how rare the Top Operator tag is. On the other hand, it would also depend on how often you need Ifrit.
you want free six stars that are better than banner characters? you can pretty much beat the whole game with the free six stars since they are more than enough...
It's mainly for convenience of farming the event materials so you don't have to check your phone every 2 minutes. It saved a lot of time and it's the closest to an auto skip feature because you can farm all of your sanity in one go. If you have played this game for a few years, you'll understand how boring and tedious it is to farm stuff in this game and constantly have to check to make sure your sanity doesn't cap (I don't care anymore because I usually have extra sanity pots and stuff), especially 1-7. Some people hated this feature because they like wasting their time and life on watching the same stuff happen over and over again by continuously clicking the start button (that's not healthy for your brain, trust me). Thankfully this has died down, and if they don't like it, they can just set it to one lol

I don't understand why would anyone want to farm resources on rerun event stages when you can buy full shop for event currency just by completing all missions. [On all future events x6 auto will be for sure, but no rerun-events I assume.] Farming resources on rerun events would be a waste of sanity [just complete all the missions and you'r done], its better to spend it on 1-7 or anything else really if there's no event with big event-shop with need fo grind for event-currency. You can buy resources for orange tokens, from green cert shop, from event-shops, from grinding for event-currency on event-stages (not rerun of those), from orange tokens that you get for made pulls in limited banners. Honestly I think that game has problem with amount of LMD more than anything else, especially if you do 1-7. Wish devs would add more LMD farm stages and make them more efficient or just gave more of those as reward from events. Or event better - finally would add one more floor to the base so we could build more factories/trading posts, that would be great. I don't have a single 6* lvl 90 for 1,5 year of gaming cuz its just too expensive and don't worth it at all, I usually stop lvls of operators at 60-69. If you will start grind CE-6 instead of event-shops or 1-7 you'll just lose so much possible pulls
@@Art-kk9md Well you are right about the missions part, as I was able to clear the entire shop with the free currency from it. I understand your point, and my personal answer is that some people are low on certain materials, besides rocks. IS-8 is the best place to farm for the tier 3 rocks directly because of the fact you are always guaranteed to get one, as well as a chance to get an additional one. As someone who uses the tier 1 rocks for orundum farming (trying to save for both Ash, who I missed from the previous event, and maybe W alter. I am also trying to spark for Skalter), crafting them for other tiers makes them diminish quite quickly, and it does not help that pretty much every operator, including the shop operators requires some form of rocks. Event stages with T3 rocks give me a better alternative to crafting them. It is easier to farm 1-7, but well, not everyone, especially new players should be doing that during an event, unless they have an overload of the materials. Some of us like variety, as 1-7 is kinda boring (can be soloed with Summoners for speedrun, like Lings s2). Even with the auto-repeat feature, you still need to repeat it a few times, at least 3 times for 108 sanities. You get more value farming for the materials in the events due to the higher drop rate compared to story stages. These events are limited time, so let's say you are low on something like alloy. Now you have to wait a few more weeks or event months for an event to grind it again. So you are better off grinding in the events. @Aizeroth8858 replied as an example of being someone being low on alloy, and that IS-10 has a better drop rate than the story stage. Besides, as Kukki said in the video, the next event is a CC event (or whatever they are doing from the OG version), which requires no sanity, so you can resume on the 1-7 grind after the event ends anyway. Edit: I forgot to add that some players do not have enough sanity to farm the EX and S stages AND farm the materials simultaneously, so they farm for event currency and materials instead through the regular stages.
@@princenwegbu3045 yea, having x6 for rerun events could be useful for new players that couldn't beat ex stages or normal last ones. With all those future events it's kinda stressful even for me tho I have 120k orundum rn. Gotta collect at least 150 pulls for R6S, 70+ for Ascalon and 200 for 5th Anniv to spark W (or 300 for Specter Alter idk). Skalter should cost 200 at 6th Anniv of CN, tho its fine doing it earlier for 300, especially with useful pots for Wis'adel and Logos. I sparked her during Lone trail and got Nearl Alt as off banner. I wish I could get Specter Alter someday
Well, while it is not the system we wanted (an auto-skip feature that other games like Illusion Connect (RIP) and Path to Nowhere has), it is still a convenient way to spend all 135 (or 126 if you want to be specific) in one go without looking at your phone every 2 minutes. It helps with the tediousness and monotony of grinding for materials. You can do something productive in your life instead of looking at the same stuff over and over again, while the game does the grinding for you. But hey, to each their own, it is okay if you do not like it, as you can set it to one and ignore it.
