Nah, no excuses man They already successfully sold the Exu and Ch'en skins as in-game packs. So why not just do that. Plus with the decoupling of the KFC brand, there is essentially no reason to do a "hey buy this and get an in-game item" campaign
I feel like they could've made more if they sell the skin in-game, even with additional items and primes if it has to cost that much (excluding the shipping and tax part). They technically wouldn't make to make more merch (since it would cost them to make) and that more player will be able to get it. The merch can be another option, but I don't think it should be the _only_ option.
Yeah just give me a 10 pull along with the skin and i get it instantly instead of super cheap throw away items and shipping that costs as much as a 10 pull.

(or two 10-pulls, making is more likely for people to buy it even if they don't care about the furniture) - Finally, the option to buy everything for $45 (or $30, by calculation, if excluding the furniture) would be available and that it will just grant everything while removing the other three from being purchased.
I understand they had to change things around, I just don't care for the merch associated with the skins, which makes me very reluctant. I don't like collecting stuff I know I'll never use
The only good reason for this is just if they don't make EN players buy stuff it'll piss CN players off because they had to buy stuff from KFC (albeit cheaper probably)
I have an idea, Maybe they can put up The skins in the ingame shop instead, and for the merch, It can be treated as a bonus, So after a player buys a pack, There will be a form to fill up your adress to ship the merch. This way, Player can use the skins instantly without waiting for the pre order, and the good part, The merch will have less shipping cost and taxes, because the merch is treated as a gift or a bonus, same thing like those recent gift from yostar to the content creators.
@@Mishimatic i usually just search for the stage names on youtube, usually the first 2 videos thats recommended is enough for me since i generally only use it to see the enemies patterns and which enemies to watch out for, and then adjust it with your team. Just to see the general strategy for a particular stage, like, "oh defend at point x", "a chokehold strat here", "need more arts damage for these guys" and so on

I'm so genuinely curious why they ended something so succesful and beloved and replaced with something convoluted that nobody really likes, like was there some internal problem with CC or why was that decision made? My first thought was that it may have been cost (given they always produced some highly produced music for CC, and there aren't too many ways they make money off of it), but given that they still do the same stuff but worse, that can't be it.
I support Frieren collab. The mood of the show could work with Arknight's. Gameplay wise, since both Frieren and Fern use magic, use mainly the same skills, share the same passive, it will be interesting how HG make them different. I guess Fern would be faster, while Frieren would simply deal more damage. Frieren would powercreep Fern, but I don't really mind since she's actually her master. Stark could be either Crusher or Centurion.
Not sure why they said that "Break the Ice" will be made available when what they mean is that Record Restoration is going to be available. The stages have been in the Side Stories tab for the last year. Regardless, this means Kjera will be available to all players permanently after June 12.
@@Nazuiko I'm dubious about how effective that would be considering that all three of the possible invisible enemies are insanely tanky HP and defense wise (70K+ HP and 1K+ defense with a typical 620 point setup). Some people have managed mostly low rarity clears with Tsukinogi, so perhaps Elysium can sub in for her too though the lower duration on his anti-invis could be problematic.
I bought the Anniversary Merch pack for year 3 and 4, both of them go for 70€ on the site but ended up costing me more than double due to shipping costs and import taxes. I literally paid 160€ both times..
dunno when you filmed this but the camping set was sold out when I looked at it like yesterday. it is, what it is, if they want it cash money only, like the Anime packs they should probably do an in game pack, but eh. they are hard capped on physical inventory now. which yes also adds shipping and taxes but thats moot cuz they are sold out.

I'll be real. Where I live, I tried to buy one of those merchandises. The shipping cost was the same price as the cheapest merchandise option, and the taxes were 20% of the price. So I am paying more than double of the actual price just because of shipping + taxes. (Europe)
I live in SEA and while the shipping price isn't as high as EU one, it still cost around half the original price. And important stuff to mention is our country currency is on the weaker side of the world so it still expensiv, takes around a quarter of minimum wage. But it still understandable if they have to add kfc brand there, our country would never got it ever lol.
I bought every single skin in the game. I waited almost 2 years to get the last skin from a rerun to complete my collection just this year and now i have to spend 75€ for 2 skins to fill my collection. I am devastated..
I bought and shipped things to Europe from Yostar before, but given that what I bought was already quite pricey the shipping percentage was 'only' 20% and not close to double the price.
And for us Malaysians, the tableware set costs more than the most expensive pack during half-anni/anniversary events in the in-game shop (not including shipping fees)
some time ago i bought two things from the yostar store, and i must say the prices are hight, but poor of you if you live in an country of latin america, like my case (mexico to be specific) and i ended up paying like 70 dollars including the shipping, i ended up paying that, but the items ended up arriving like 6 - 7 months later. but at least the items have an really good quality.
Well lot of country tax (import tax) basically almost 25% for individual import. Thus it basically expensive if you count all of that. (My country import tax basically 25% ...... which if I buy 40$ goods (including shipping let's say), the total basically cost me 50$ (and Yostar store does not calculate this)).
They need to change the shop by not making shipping costs so high. I'm sure that's not as simple as it sounds but considering many places ship all over the world for less cost to the consumer, it's not unachievable.
tbh I've been wanting to buy that pallas glow pin, so this is my chance to get a cute pin clip too, and a Nian plushie. Gotta take the losses on shipping RIP 35$ in the US for me. Honestly, this is just another way for them to drain your wallet since they have a ton of events in the coming months to release. Plus, the skins for both of them are trash. They don’t have unique effects. You’re better off buying Croissant’s bike skin and Exia’s limited skin pack (when it re-releases) since they are two very cool skins.
Is it possible to buy the skins via a friend in Japan though? He’ll get the food while I get the skin basically. But I’m global so the server may not reflect it…

That would still require tons of paperwork and collaboration with KFC, which not everywhere has one nearby, etc. and is a logistical nightmare. Well... gameplay scaling doesn't always match with lore wise. There are operators who are suppose to be godlike but are just average or weak in-game, while some who are considered average in-lore are the meta.
@@datnoob4394 Still not even close to in-lore, Skadi is known as a "walking catastrophe" and was "able to create a mountain tunnel with a single, focused thrust of her greatsword". Plus, the main buffs from the AH modules are more on durability at the moment. A few for damage and aspd, but nothing huge.

I don´t understand, why is everyone complaining about the shipping costs. Everyone should understand that shipping across half the earth will cost something. Yostar can´t do much about it. For Example: Shipping a 5 kg parcel with DHL: In Germany : 7 € Germany to EU: 17 € Germany to Switzerland (which is surrounded by EU): 27 € (+taxes?) Germany to Asia: 46 € (+taxes?) So, the shipping costs are not surprisingly high- if you are a little bit familiar with shipping across borders. The only way to avoid it would be a store-system in different countries. But I am afraid, that Arknights is not popular enough outside Asia for this. It is a little sad, and I would like to have some of the stuff, but, yes, shipping and taxes. But it is nothing to blame Yostar for.
We can blame them for choosing to make us pay those prices instead of a KFC meal, which even if it wasn't possible to do, could have instead been done by an ingame purchase or whatever.

While i think a collab Frieren would be DA BOMB (In a good way), i dont think they would do a collab with an anime with clear power level that could jeopardize the balance between the two IP. I would say their next anime collab would be with those slice of life/absurdist comedy style of story. ....maybe that Nokotan anime would be up their alley
Yostar seems to be pretty hit-or-miss with regards to shipping anywhere. I know one person who bought the Azur Lane 5th Anniversary Limited Commemoration Box - didn't arrive on time, both Yostar support & the carrier weren't able to provide any meaningful assistance on locating the package. It eventually showed up about half a year late, fairly banged up. Another person ordered the Azur Lane Eternal Oath Couples' Rings. Has not shown up at all. Yostar support and the carrier are just about useless with regards to trying to locate it. Assumed lost to the void. A third person is a huge collector/fan of the art books, and orders them whenever they are available. They tend to arrive a bit later than expected (a week or so), but they have the best track record of showing up at all, out of any Yostar merchandise. I suspect it has to do with the manufacturers of the goods - whoever handles art books/comics anthology printing has their shit together more than the manufacturers of other goods (plushies, other knick-knacks).

exia has 3 skins and the only one i like is the kfc one. im p sure yostar store is in US? bro im just in canada and shipping is around $24-30 bucks... i considered the camping set bc i could use the plate n cup as...normal plates and cups but it was $63 CAD and sold out when i checked. i love arknights but this aint it. id have bought a pack in game but this? its not even my type of merch...
I had to fork out $57 for both skins and the furniture set through their individual merch because the camp set sold out a day after the event began. I'm just relief that the shipping and tax wasn't all that bad for Malaysian.

The price didn't hurt me that much but it did hurt me that only 3 days before they removed my country from the countries that Yostar ships. Please look forward to this event and I had planned to spend and I didn't care about the pricebut they didn't let me, the truth is that decision hurt me a lot.

It will get converted, if not with this event then with the second CC Battleplan, but the conversion rate is not 1:1 (that is to say, your CC tokens had more purchasing power as CC tokens than they will with the new CCB currency system)
