An explanation on what to do if there is a message of "No Google tag found in this container." would be handy. As in my Tag manager there is not G4A tag. Do I just create one?

Appreciated your video. Can i do nothing just wait automatically update as google said? Because im afraid i will set something wrong as i don't quite understand the steps after puting tag ID, like the configuration setting and shared event setting and advanved setting, i don't know i should touch those or not

Hi there, it's been a great help with your videos, thanks. Can I ask you what should I do with google tag from ads? which is starting AW- because there is a warning that tag isn’t detected. should I combine with GTM? Already copy the code to Theme liquid and GTM is working fine with the tag. Can you please help me. thanks

Great video Benjiman! In the Config section, does one need to add a "send_page_view = true" parameter (saw this added when I imported a older container)? Or is it true by default?

That’s the default, so you don’t need to add this. Google has automatically added this for GA4 configuration tags that were transitioned to Google Tag. I’m not entirely sure why they did this as you only need it for ‘false’

Hi Benjamin, Which trigger do we need to use? Previous for the configuration tag we used All Pages but now it seems you are using Initialization - All Page. Any difference?

Either will work, but the ‘Initialization - All Pages’ trigger is the recommended one to use.

How would you know that you need to adjust any of these variables and/or configuration settings? I'm completely lost on these variables and/or configurations updates. Can you please provide more context and details?

If you want to collect any custom parameters with events, then you’ll need to use them. Or if you want to modify default tag behavior, like having a tag that doesn’t send a page view.

Gosh. I have no idea. I’ll have to take a look at the video. I’m guessing it covers UA which had some easier options, but I’ll try and check when I get a chance.

Thanks for the explanation! Previously I was adding a parameter of traffic_type to my config tag, which works with GA4's filter to exclude developer traffic. Would this parameter be added to the Google Tag: Configuration settings, or the Google Tag: Event settings? I'm a bit confused since it's something I'd normally add to the config, but I guess it impacts page_view events, so unsure which one is used here.

You should use the 'Configuration Settings Variable' for this.
