I see the big picture now. We did this in 2017 with you as interim BDE commander. My platoon looked forward to changing mission scenarios and that kept the training feeling fresh!
Thank you for the amazing video! I am a recently promoted sergeant and your examples and presentation of Mission Command are far more intuitive than reading ADP 6-0. During my junior enlisted days, my supervisors have always adapted the Command and Control attitude towards leading soldiers; and as you mentioned, while it goes hand in hand with Mission Command, more often than not junior enlisted were not brought up to speed on what the mission is and why they are conducting the tasks they have on hand. I can pull a junior soldier aside right now and not many, if at all, can give a clear answer of what the mission is. More or less we will hear along the lines of "I was told to just be here/ do this et Cetra" Even worst, toxic leaders will often empower themselves by micromanaging those they "lead". I have experienced it first hand and realized that it only corrodes the mutual bond and trust in each other. I aspire to properly educated both myself and others to hopefully make a positive impact in our future Army. Please continue to make these presentations sir!
I usually understand what you are talking but not this time. TOC??? LFX??? STX??? You should explain in the video what are those 1st before you talking about it. Thankyou.
