MISSIONARIES SOFTENED THE AFRICANS FOR COLONIALISM - PROF. MACHARIA MUNENE

Colonialism was an exercise in imperial conquest, implemented at the tip of the bayonet. The Africans resisted but the forces raged against them bore superior arms and strategies. In this extensive interview, famous Kenyan historian Prof. Macharia Munene, gives a deep lesson on how colonialism took place in Kenya and Africa and the role of missionaries, soldiers, administrators, anthropologists, and even a former American President who once visited Kenya at the dawn of colonialism. He explains the rationale behind the Berlin Conference of 1885 - bringing order and discipline among European powers for the smooth exploitation of the African continent. He also traces the rise of grievances and political dissent among the Africans as a result of the alienation of their land, the imposition of punitive taxation, the denial of political representation, the conscription of African young men to fight European wars, and wanton discrimination, all culminating in armed resistance such as Mau Mau in the case of Kenya. He sweeps through the history of slavery, African-American history, and the rise of comprehensive Pan-Africanism and shows how Pan-African thinking inspired the resistance in Kenya and African and vice-versa.

The best way to wake the masses up is to tell them the truth and refer them to History! Find the meaning of words and it origin (Etymology). From the principles of Ma’at, Mythology were introduced to control the people minds. Before embarking on your self spiritual awakening, you need to know who you are and that will give you and the other people you’re speaking to an understanding.

The same reason AA still follow and accept religion, we have all been mentally colonised, the continued physical and mental abuse eventually wore us down. Therefore we tried to survive by pretending to accept the status quo until we regained our strength.

In Christian History, there's a period of reformation. Christians realised that the Roman Catholic church was acting contrary to the scriptures and using religion to abuse believers. The situation is no different with the British. Religion is not the problem. People are the problem. 95% of those who claim to be Christian don't study scriptures. How do you explain corruption when the scriptures are contrary to moral corruption? As usual, to justify our immorality, we will discredit religion and play the victim card. I'd suggest we borrow some lessons from the Jews.

Lol yawn and how did Africa develop southern Europe in it's eight centuries plus brutal bloodthirsty violent genocidal colonialism exactly? Before they had to be forced out of the continent by their indigenous victims......and why didn't Africa develop itself in the previous few hundred thousand years in possession of the most abundantly blessed natural resourced real estate on the planet before evil whitey arrived ?🤔..underdeveloped it compared with who? And how did they manage to triple it's entire continental population and double average life expectancy within a single generation of underdevelopment?🤔

I am a Mugikuyu woman living in Germany. Today I had an encounter with a Jehova witness woman. She started talking about the ongoing conflict in Israel blaming the Hamas. I told her that the fake Jews should leave Palestine to it’s original owners and go back to their original home in southern Russia. She argued that since millennium people have been conquering one another, in other words Palestinians should accept that they’ve been conquered and leave the fake Jews in peace 😂😂😂 I went on to explain to her that there’s no European people who can claim to be the people the Bible talks about ie Hebrew Israelites, and that Europeans have caused a lot of suffering and harm on this planet. She told me Jesus told us to love our neighbors and enemies 😂😂😂 l threw my hands up in disbelief and left her! So it’s true, Christianity was used to soften Africans and conquer them 😡
