They can now tell 15 years before it activates for want of a better word. So research is going fast on MND there will be a cure for it in the next 15 to 20 years. And apparently cancer has had a breakthrough on a cure in the last few weeks. That will be ready by 2035
MiloC why are professional sports held to a higher out of hours standard than objectively much more professional careers, like doctors? Doctors don’t have curfews. I really dislike behaviour policing unless it’s for serious safety concerns. A night out on the piss with the lads isn’t a serious safety concern.
@@tonalambiguity3345 It's not a safety concern its a fitness concern. These lads are on top nutritional diets that are layed out for them by doctors and nutritionists. You understand the sacrifices you make when you play sport to a certain standard. Maybe in the old days you were allowed but it's so competitive and scientific nowadays that you will fall behind.
MiloC ok yeah that’s a point I didn’t consider and pretty much the only point on the matter that I won’t argue too much against. That being the case, I think if they have to sacrifice such an important part of their youth (that they’ll never get back) then they should be paid far far more handsomely. That partying time is irreplaceable. Also, what about the NRL? Their players are expected to be at peak performance but they often go out and get on the sauce on the weekend. Honestly I think we place far too many demands on people other than ourselves for pretty petty reasons. If you yourself want to live a certain way then fine, but don’t demand others live that same way. Especially not for something as trivial as competitive sport or money.
Its the lions series. The most prestige team you can make in your caeer as an european player. They play every 12 year south africa and every 6 or 4 years aus and nz
@@YesBruv66 yes, my point was he in a man, rugby player, not playing the next day so a beer not really a problem, management want a 11 pm curfew is ridiculous.
