I love this video. Only just subscribed, and a video like this is important. My wife recent had her channel monetised and these were things we often spoke about.

I love the fact you really love your physical media and happy to just talk about your passion. I also like the fact you're not bothered about competing with other youtubers with subjects that are just repeated a 1000 times over. I can tell you love to share your thoughts about physical media. Just do what you feel comfortable with. No gimmicks, just honest views and I'm sure you will be even more successful. All the best from a guy from Pudsey UK. 🤘

I'm a new RU-vidr, but one thing I'm quickly learning is know your 'niche' and stick with it. If you enjoy talking about something specific and have a passion for it then stick with it and you'll eventually find your audience. At least, that's my philosophy. You have a relaxed, unscripted way of presenting videos and that's something I try to do also - I really get bored with watching scripted content and fancy editing (the zoom-in to highlight certain points really grinds my teeth!) I don't think of aiming for monetization, I just try and make the best content I can with what I have available. If further down the road I find that I can get monetized that's great - what could be better than getting paid for something you love doing? But if it doesn't happen then I'll still have a dedicated number of subscribers that like to watch what I do. :)

I’d say turning off what ads that are being shown hurt. As a smaller creator myself, I can say for sure that not having a super focused channel is apart of it. If you’re the physical way, focus on physical media. I love wrestling, games, physical media. So your content was right up my alley. But my advice is to focus on those 3 things and forget the second channel for the moment. As a smaller creator myself I understand what you mean but it’s all about staying focused. The spotlight idea sounds cool, or maybe even movie reviews of stuff you have recently rewatched! Love the videos, just trying to help❤ have a good rest of your day

I just found your channel from a different physical media video, and I have to say, they way you approach and talk through your videos absolutely keep me watching. The subject matter is up my alley, but your personality and the conversational way you work through the video is very appealing. Thanks for sharing your experiences, and keep on experimenting!
