If any of Rimuru’s followers like Shion were to be hit by it, they would be *gone* gone no reviving bullshit is saving them. Even Rimuru (at least in his current power in this episode) would’ve ended up severely injured if not dead if they were hit directly. Raphael *technically* isn’t lying, just that the episode didn’t really portray just how powerful her Skill was for some reason. Raphael compared to Great Sage is way better now at making autonomous decisions. Hey, if it benefits your master in the long-run with no risk you might as well.

I definitely agree, Infinite Regeneration is a true counter to Melt Slash, it would probably just deplete an absurd amount of Magicules if it hit Rimuru. Confirm the facts before telling them

In the LN it says that Luminus prefers to dress the normal human way, though she gets someone to dress her. I don't know of a Skill that dresses someone by having to use physical clothing as a start. There is a Skill, however, called Create Material which creates whatever one wants out of magicules. Demons all have it, and some other powerful people have it.

@@galonski64 I reread my answer and I see I left some things out. First I was pointing out that the light novel is different, but they changed it the anime. Don't know why, not a huge deal. But it means the novel doesn't explain this scene. I was trying to say that she was probably using Create Material. Maybe she does use an actual physical article of clothing as a base. But nowhere is such a Skill described in the novels. The situation is the same for Milim when she was wearing all those cute outfits she got in Tempest and then changed into her official Milim work outfit. They don't explain that either. Milim treasures those clothes, I don't think she'd just destroy the originals. I don't know what they do with physical clothing they were wearing if they create something else. But the novel does describe a Skill called Create Material. They create clothing out of magicules, and when they change clothing they just reform the magicules. Diablo did that. That's what I think Luminus did at Walpurgis. In the current episode with Luminus, I just thought, Gunther was already standing by with a robe, and she didn't decide to wear public clothing until after she heard the whole story and determined she needed to act quickly.

Before you reply if you want to, I'll just say that I'm already disappointed in the anime from the get go and I'll give the whole anime a generous 7/10. I respect all of your opinions, yes, I've also watched average adaptations that are my favorites (watch Girls und Panzer it's the best 7/10 anime you'll watch). I'm just saying that I'm disappointed because from the start I know that the adaptation wouldn't really give justice to the material anyways, I'm just looking forward to some moments that shouldn't be even that hard to f-ck up, and yet they still did. Ey, I'm not downing the anime, it's just my opinion, I know it's good to some people, but imo, compared to other anime, this is incredibly mid. I understand tho why people like it, and I respect their opinion.

The biggest omission that leads to other omissions and misunderstandings, including this one, is that they just do not really explain about Ultimate Skills vs. Unique Skills. It's not like they haven't said so in the novels a long time ago in the story, and it's not like it's hidden from Rimuru. It's the key to all these high-level battles, and all the discussions in comments sections about who's stronger, and if they don't get to explaining this better soon, these things will make less and less sense as time goes on. Also, they just skimp on explaining Skills in general. But I guess if you added that, some people would be more annoyed by yet more exposition.

Totally agree. Was waiting for a year for this whole Blocked shit moment and here we have it. Also correction: she can use Usurper on weaker enemies, but it says 'not applicable' meaning that the enemy isn't even worth of copying. In the manga, they exemplified this point by showing Hinata's POV on a basic weak ass goblin and then further on Rimuru during their first fight. So Usurper basically concluded that Rimuru at that point was no better than a goblin, therefore 'not applicable'. Then they proceeded to show Hinata's POV on Luminous during their first fight and it showed 'Blocked'. This detail emphasized just how ridiculous Rimuru's growth is. Shame they decided to leave it out and have us watch 6 episodes of pointless meetings instead.

With regards to the light novel, the fights with the Beastketeers, Souei and Benimaru against the captains was only elaborated upon in a side story. The 7th novel of the LN, where this entire arc takes place, also only mentioned the results of those battles but didn't show any of it. The anime is technically true to the light novel in this regard.

Because literally that's where the big development starts. The meeting itself is badly managed. Not even a good storyboard expect now. And you expect that people who don't enjoy reading light novel enjoy a show with a bad adaption? Plus the 6 episode was just meeting and had not good composition polish. They could've ignore some useless details details and so instead of 6 episode maybe 3-4 episodes.
