When I owned my 1991 and 1993 SL Versions. . I remember pulling into a 7-Eleven to get gas in Tampa Florida in 2008 and a teenager standing there with her dad saw the car and she asks her dad, "What is that?" Her dad said, "Honey, that is a Mitsubishi 3000GT. A car from my time." I smiled and that made my day. Damn car still gets looks to this day. I wish I had one again.
Awe man this reminds me of my see and say I had when I was little. When you put the pointer on the car and pulled the string to wind it up and let it go it would say 'the car goes vroom vroom'
I work at a mitsubishi dealership and I definitely feel that but i do like how efficient the new cars are(the outlander gets like 40mpg) and I also know there’s a widebody mirage hatchback that we have at our dealership fresh from the factory but I can’t seem to find any pictures of it online, hopefully people find it as funny as i did😂
Modern mitsubishi is owned by nissan, who has effectively castrated the brand and turned it into a commuter car brand Nobody buys sports cars cause they want good gas mileage brah
I got a 1995 sl with 60k miles for 2k. My brother tried to talk me into putting a turbo in it but its in fairly good shape so i think ima just baby it. Parts for these cars are hard to find and expensive.
We call them hood "blisters". They are basically just covers for the holes in the hood that had to be created to fit the active suspension struts. Source: am an owner.
