Too slow on final. The nose was too high. And then it quit and dropped in. Bummer..

Beautiful looking model on the ground and air, build a new wing it will be good as new.

Fuselage still good. JB has plans for a similar size, so its just a matter of building a new wing if the existing one is unrepairable. I love mine, had it for a while, great flyer, but does need power on landings.

When i saw the thumbnail i thought it was a real Radien they restored to flight and crashed Boy it was a relief to see it was a toy

Beautiful plane! Sorry about the crash. This video is good for showing the correlation between the tail - wing and airspeed. Look at where the horizontal stab is in relation to the wing at 3:19 then look at it at 3:24. I am only pointing it out because it shows a perfect visual of speed. I hope to see it back in the air again!

Bummer dude! Repairing landing gear has got to be the biggest pain in the ass too.

But...why the Raiden? Aren't there any other beautiful aircraft? By the way, among the Japanese Navy aircraft, I also like the Raiden.😅

The whole flight was unplanned random and inaccurate. The approach was rushed and didn't allow for huge increase in drag when the gear and flaps were lowered. To slow to start with and then the engine fails and it's all over.

Landed that plane as well as my grandpa dropping trou' and landing a front yard lawn dookie.
